I'm not really a huge TD fan now-a-days... but KR definitely hooked me, and totally deserves this! Great to see a game outscore IBII for this GOTWOTY poll... CONGRATS!!! **Can't wait to see what you guys come up with next!
I wished Monsters Ate My Condo could make it to the poll, but no, all that love dissapeared. At the end, a sequel, a tilt game and a flash game wins it... (not bad games but still)... sigh
Take that sequel and flash game and replace them with an FPS and platformer(Swordigo) and you got my top 3
What's funny is that I didn't even think about Kingdom Rush being just a "flash game". Guess it shows how much you can do with Flash and have a good deal of depth and great mechanics. There were some tough choices in there but KR is definately worthy of the honor no matter what was used to make it. Despite being a tilt game, I also think Crazy Hedgy is one of the best and most original platformers on the iOS. I would probably substitute Swordigo for IB2, however. IB2 is a great game but get beyond the graphics and I think Swordigo is easily a better game. EDIT: Oh, and I'm a big MAMC fan myself, so I can see where you coming from with that one.
Crazy Hedgy deserves the top 3 spot, but I really don't like IB2 being in there when Swordigo deserves that spot... just my opinion tho
