Not a tough decision. Modern Combat 3 easily even though it has been a real pain due to lag lately. 2nd and 3rd would already be a really hard desicion.
To me, it's Chaos Rings II by a pretty wide margin, with Infinity Blade II coming in next on the list.
Went with Infinity Blade 2 since I spent most time on this title than anything else on the whole GOTW list. Also, i got a new iPad3rd a week and a half ago and when i loaded IB2 up it f****d up my Lv200 save file. Now im level 80+ again. If a game wants me to play it again after spending hours on it, it definitely deserves to be my choice here. Not too happy about Anomaly Warzone Earth not being on the final list though. Also, although not being THAT good itself, I think Temple Run deserves to be on the final list too because of how influential it was, giving inspiration to top titles like TheEnd, Subway Surfers, Agent Dash and Pitfall, as well as numerous other decent and not-so-good clones.
Chaos rings 2 for me. Not only have the graphics in the game increased in quality, but the combat system implements the newly used Awakenings. This game lasted me over two weeks of play, about 2 to 3 hours throughout the day between classes, and after I finished it I still wanted to play more. The story offered so much with all the sacrificing, and the many different paths of behavior impressed me. I love this game.
Disappointed at Infinity Blade 2's success. To me it was just a bland fighter with Fruit Ninja swipe controls, a mediocre story, tons of bugs, crashed at least once before opening and most of all, removed my data............. Maybe new updates changed it, but my experience of it is nothing but bad.
have to agree... bought both, and played each one for about an hour each, and it just didn't click with me. Great visuals... but I guess I expected the gameplay to match up, and IMO, it just didn't. Crazy Hedgy got my vote. I know there's loads of people out there who haven't, or just won't, try it because of the tilt controls, but it's easily the best 3D platformer, as well as one of the best platformers on any platform that I've had the pleasure of playing. I'm on my 3rd playthrough, and absolutely loving every second of it. Really wish a couple of other titles would have been thrown onto the list, but out of the ones that made it, Crazy Hedgy is the one that has sucked away the most time and given me the most enjoyment.
