What generation device are you using (jailbroken?) -- it definitely should not be crashing as we tested everything using a regular iPhone 3G. We also found that if you have too many tabs open in Safari it increases the chance for any RAM intensive game to crash.

We'll look into it, and I might be PMing you for more details if you don't mind :)

But yeah, you should definitely give Endless a shot... I'm curious to see what kind of time you can get with your load out :D

JB Gen2. I think it was because everytime i play this i listen to music on my iPod. Sound of zombies isn't too fun to hear if you know what i mean ;)

When i listen to music my RAM is like 40 MB average though. It's usually 57ish

Great tips, Doom. I'll look for these for my next upgrade.

I can't seemt o beat the dog level in endless :|. I've tried multiple strategies, all involving my seismic bomb + medpack with various guns.

So far what seems to be working is, rifle+uzi+shotgun+nade/mine. I think i'll keep this combo for a while then switch out rifle for pistol later on because i wont need both heavy and light ammo packs

Anyone have any tips? I beat the dog stage (finally), but i died on the next stage. there's just too many zombies.

Hmmm, the dogs should be pretty easy to take down with Rail Gun and zoomed in Rifle (for the big dogs). Uzi for the small dogs, and then flash bangs just in case.

Try this loadout: pistol, uzi, rifle, rail gun, flashbangs, medpack

If you find your big weapons reloading and the big dogs are getting ready to attack, just lob a flashbang to keep them stunned while you reload.

In endless Medpack is a MUST... upgrade that as often as possible, and it will keep you going for a long time. Also upgrading max health will heal you the amount of HPs that it raises your max as well, so if you start getting low on HPs, simply upgrade health.

The level after, get rid of rifle and replace it with nades... flashbangs are still a great idea vs mass zombies.

at first start with rifle. do not shoot zombies until they will be close (except dog level and big dudes level), making long killing series is very important. until level with dogs one should have also rail gun, med pack, some defense and health upgrades, grenades and maybe weapon pack for railgun. Then dogs are super easy, u have riffle and pistol for small dogs, and big ones can be finished with rail gun and grenades. i found that rail gun and heavy weapon ammo pack is very important for endless mode. so my best build was - full upgraded health, armor, rage, sniper rifle, rail gun, earthquake, grenades, med pack, desert eagle. at later levels u just use rifle and rail gun with grenades. earthquake to let weapons reload and desert eagle as backup weapon. But of course desert eagle can be replaced before last stage with m16 or mines. with such build i got up to 38 minutes and i never used zoom and option to quickly rotate around 180°, so actually i could play much more better. :D
btw, level with resurrection zombies can be used for grinding, just use grenades and rifles and try to avoid killing boss zombies.

Hmmm.. is rail-gun really that good? I find 1-2 shots to be too little, and getting zombies to be in a line like that is too rare.

Also, why not use mines instead?

I wanted to use shotgun though, it's one of my "lifesavers" it eliminates anyone that gets too close to me.

Should i keep it? or no?
And yes, I love the sniper rifle. I was planning on using that.

Rail Gun owns pretty hard. Its not so much for lines of zombies, but for quickly killing big enemies. It can down a giant in 2 hits... and even if you have 2-3 zombie cops lines up that is a juicy target. Also you'd be surprised at how often zombies will be in a relative line... especially on certain levels like the A-Train and subway station.

Hmmm... That sounds pretty interesting. But do you think i should not use desert eagle and replace it with M16?

Because i don't want desert eagle being my only light ammo weapon, and the eagle without the ammo pack sucks. And i dont want to waste 2k on only one weapon.

Well, Desert Eagle reloads so fast you really don't need the light ammo pack -- its still a great weapon. Save that 2k for more armor or health.

Wait, so what are your 6 equipment slots for endless? I prefer
    1. Desert Eagle
    2. Rifle or sometimes M16
    3. Rail gun
    4. Flashbangs
    5. Nades or proxy mines
    6. Medpack

With this setup heavy ammo pack is a nice bonus, and upgrading the sniper ability twice will REALLY give your rifle and rail gun a mean punch.

Earthquake is must have for last stage on endless, it gives you time to reload, to kill all zombies which surrounds you and time to recharge med pack. btw. flashbang flashes you even if u turned 180° around fast, i think it's little design error. btw, maybe you can consider introducing new mode like the last stage on current endless mode? with possibility to shop during the fight. It will be more action like. but anyway this game is really top.

I won't promise anything by any means, but we'll definitely keep that suggestion in mind for the future :)

Old thread but I figure I'll throw my two cents in.

As far as endless goes, I like to start with the Uzi and carefully blast zombies in order to achieve money bonuses for better gear. The first three levels are good for this as you can maximize your hit streaks to generate money without getting too overwhelmed.

The key early on is too balance your costs between health/medpack/vest and potent weapons. You have to play a bit and see what works best for you, but starting out its wise to stick with cost efficient weapons in order to be able to obtain the health you will need most in "release the hounds". Stun weapons are a must, too, so flash bangs are great at the beginning when money matters more. The seismic charge being a bit most expensive, usually works out better for me towards the second half of endless (wave 10+).

The pistol is quite important for most of the waves. The quick reload time really helps conserve the other weapons and the damage is at least decent while you are upgrading it. I can't really see not using it, since in a lot of cases you may only have 3 actual guns in your arsenal, a stun weapon, a thrown weapon and a medpack. That quick reload is just a lifesaver in a lot of the waves.

As far as the thrown weapons go, I used to really prefer proximity mines, but more recently had better luck with grenades. The mines are decent, but I find that many times one mine will only result in a kill of one zombie, and in other cases one mine blowing up will cause another to blow up, thus wasting one. The mines work great in "the darkness" wave and definitely in leaper levels, but then again, so does the M16 and is far more handy in the rest of the waves. Grenades just work more efficiently in crowds, especially in a wave like "they just won't go down". I used to think the Brainbomb was the only real way to handle that level. However, with its super slow reload and often times mixed results, upgraded grenades just seem like the better choice to me.

So, for the first half of endless my load out is typically:

    1. Pistol
    2. Rail Gun
    3. Uzi
    4. Flash Bangs
    5. Grenades

    Second half:

    1. Desert Eagle
    2. Rail Gun
    3. M16
    4. Seismic Charge
    5. Grenades

I may throw the Chaingun and mines into the mix from time to time. The latter waves (15+) it seems quite helpful to upgrade sniper and rage at this point, too especially in "the big boys" where its important to take down big enemies quickly before you get surrounded. Chaingun works great in "track meet" since you need to be constantly blasting zombies or else you will be swarmed fast. Heavy ammo pack is important in this combo as it benefits the M16 and the Rail Gun becomes quite useful when it reloads a bit quicker and has an extra round in it. Grenade pack is a must also, if you rely on thrown weapons a lot.
