I've got the itch to play but I can't decide which one. They all seem to have their ups and downs. Any of you guys know which Mahjong Solitaire game in the app store is the best? Readability is an issue with this sort of game I know
Well, according to this it is Shanghai Mahjong: http://www.ilounge.com/index.php/articles/comments/iphone-gems-the-best-of-all-7-mahjong-games/ I have this game and it is really good, but the reviews article is pretty old and I don't know about the Mahjong releases since then.
I like Moonlight because as said in the review above I can spin the tile pile, pinch/zoom which helps with some of the more intricate piles.
It really depends what is important to you. I like highly polished games that prioritise fun over flexibility/options. My favourite is Sunsoft's Mahjong Solitaire (Lite) but its a bit pricey. Gamebox Asia is also really good, and free too!
