My nieces and nephews love playing with my iPod Touch. What are the best apps (educational, games or otherwise) out there for toddlers? Ideally, I'd like it to be apps that are both entertaining and educational. For example, the Toddler Teasers series is great. I'd also like to get some suggestions for kindergarteners to third graders too.
Interesting topic - I was looking around hoping to find something geared to newborns (i.e. high contrast colours and nice sounds etc), but there doesn't seem to be anything on the app store. Guess I could use a video instead...
well im not sure.... but my little cousin loves playing with doodle jump, jelly car, and this next one isnt a game, but he likes neon paint
Our 6-month old does enjoy watching Schoolhouse Rock! on my iPod Touch, but as far as apps go she seems to like anything with sound. "Favorites" include Bobble Zoo, Memory Zoo and Zoo for Baby (I guess she likes zoos ) and Bebot, though quite honestly she'll watch me play just about anything, especially if I have the sound on. I used to play Flight Control a lot while feeding her when she was small enough for me to cradle her and hold a bottle with one arm/hand...

AWazDat - A great app for toddlers I just released an app that was built just for my one year old son. He loves playing with my iPhone. His favorite thing to do is just click on the icons to see what they do.
