I am starting out of seeing how pocketgamer seems to be way out with their recent reviews ... My personal favs: Slide to Play as they seem to be more in line with my own views ... and seem to be more detailed in their appraisals beyond describing gameplays Iphone gaming network, again they seem to be on the mark more than not, but seem to have too many reviewers Hates Pocketgamer - refer to my thread on alpine and vector tanks I think this is good for those who want a 2nd opinion out of toucharcade and this forum, which i still think is still the best source of info and comments.
Hmmm...I keep a lot of sites in my RSS, I have a few faves though. EDIT: This keeps getting censored? Ap pver sity, minus the spaces- Good apps, good community...and they give stuff away for free! It attracts some people just for the promo codes, but it seems pretty good. 148Apps - They generally have pretty good reviews...sometimes they have apps that nobody else does, esp. non-games. And they update pretty often. Slide to Play - Definitely. I love these guys. I want some more, though...it's always good to read things. iPhonefootprint...I've drifted away from them. Bad grammar, bad grammar, and not enough content.
My friend's new site A friend of mine has started a new site: http://epiciphoneapps.com/ His goal is to be absolutely impartial, and I think he's onto a pretty good design so far. Also, since he's my friend, if you see my game's review on there, don't trust it
That's great for your friend. I like the idea of a list of bad apps. I like longer reviews than that, though...he barely writes a paragraph.
I'll give Slide To Play a "2" because i had some issue with them Seriously, i feel very confortable here reading comments from the people who played the game by passion and talk with passion, i rather prefer comment from people who paid to play the game than those who got paid to play the game
I'll agree on TA being my main source for researching on a game but still some threads can fall into a one frame mind mentality about games (especially when a new game can be over/under-hyped). And although most TA threads are excellent sources I still broaden my horizons a little from different game sites to try and get an overall consensus. ........ Slide to Play is one of my favs too.
I would visit STP more but they forums are dead. But here's my list TA STP Appvee(just for the number of reviews) And my own one except I won't span and post it here It's in my sig
