I need a case for my iPad. Which ones do you guys have? The apple case sucks imo, it looks and feels cheap. Thinking of getting the Incase neoprene but would like some suggestions! Thanks
I returned the Apple case for this one http://www.goincase.com/products/detail/convertible-book-jacket-cl57512/1 I ordered this on ebay because it's sold out everywhere. I think the wait will be worth it though based on the YouTube vids I've seen on this case.
It's sold out at every Apple store atm. I guess people try on all the cases and know this is the best one lol.
I like the Lucky case but $60 and it looks like a mbpro case... lol If I'm going to spend $60 it's going to be functional.
Haven't bought a case yet, but it seems like the apple store has a very limited selection. I have been checking amazon, and they are starting to get some nice cases in. Haven't decided what to get, though. iLounge has a "gallery" of all the cases that have been coming out.
I just got my iPad case on ebay and I love it. It's designed like the Apple case but gives you decent protection. It will probably be sold out online and at stores for a bit longer (everybody wants this case) but I think it will be worth the wait. I'd take pics but my iPhone cam sucks and I lost the battery charger for my Cybershot
Mine was a similar price. When you spend so much money on an iPhone, the last thing you want to do is splash out more cash on a case. Cheap chinese eBay items FTW!!!
after watching that video glad I went with the apple case. It's not $30 like the guys says but $40. Glad I saved myself the $20. When watching movies widescreen it's almost totally upright vertical angle which I prefer. If have it on the bed you'll need a book or object with flat surface if you wish it to stay up is the only caveat I've found so far.
You can't actually adjust the screen in an upright vertical stand with this case too It actually holds in place but the downside is that you'll have more bulk because of the flap sticking out from the bottom.
Too bad the incase neoprene case has so many bad reviews, it looks and feels nice but doesn't keep the iPad secure. More cases will be releases in time. Funny how the incase iPhone case was $39 when I got my 3G now the iPad case is the same price!
I'm guessing that these companies are selling their macbook/air and netbook cases disguised as iPad ones since they're readily available to cash in on the early buzz.
If I had an iPad, I wouldn't bother spending loads of money on a case, I'd just get one of those bubble wrap lined envelopes, lol
IMO, if I spend a shitload of cash on an iPhone, I'm willing to spend a smaller load of cash (a shartload, perhaps?) to make sure my $400 don't turn into an iBrick. Even more so with an iPad that has a gigantic glass screen.
I suppose the iPad is pretty vulnerable to bashes and scratches. But I've had my 2G iPhone for over 2 years now, I've dropped it several times (without it's case), but the iPhone has survived and what's really amazing is that there are no scratches on it whatsoever. I could put it back in it's box, seal it up and sell it as a "new" condition iPhone without anyone knowing otherwise. Maybe I'm just lucky
