hi, i want a good messenger app - i use MSN, i have the 3.0 update on ipod touch 2g, are there any that work properly when you exit them - ie you just get push notifications when you get a new message instead of an email... and you recieve messages as normal when you dont have the application open. preferably a landscape keyboard? thanks in advance =)
I recommend you read this thread in which Menneisyys has written about each IM app available for the iPhone. I found what he wrote to be really useful.
Correct me if I am wrong but doesn't IM+ have just the forward email feature instead of actual push (push coming later) and Beejive has push notifications now? Besides that I think one of the other differences is IM+ has Skype Chat where Beejive does not.
IM+ features push as well as push for twitter, and does not require "subscriptions" for that like other twitter push apps. So for a cool instant messege app with a basic twitter client that also pushes notifications, its very worth it. and on sale as of 7/19/09 10am est for $.4.99 !!!
