iPad Best games when sharing iPod/Phone

Discussion in 'iPhone and iPad Games' started by Colonel Molerat, Jun 17, 2009.

  1. I was wondering what games people would recommend having on an iPod/Phone that is used by multiple people.

Rather than either multiplayer, synchronous games, or simple high-score lists, I was wondering if there was anything where multiple people could play together, but without it being dependent on constant input from all.

For example, some type of MMO with multiple accounts, or a game that combines the progress of all of its different users.

I thought of this after wondering if MyBrute can support multiple people using one device (so my girlfriend could play too), after getting frustrated at never being able to play Stoneloops of Jurassica (she has the one account) and after wanting to spend all of my money on games, but needing an excuse...

Co-operative games that we could each play briefly when we got a chance would be best...
Any ideas? So far, the best I can think of is UniWar, hotseat humans vs CPU.

Unfortunately, My Brute only supports one account on the device.

There are plenty of multiplayer "pass it to the next person" games, but I don't think that's what you're looking for.
Some games have profiles for each player, allowing different progresses to be saved. I haven't heard of any game that combines progresses though.

    Peggle allows multiple accounts

Space Ninja let's 2 people play at the same time

For Stoneloops I let my gf play the regular version and I end up playing Grab N Shoot.

    Monopoly, Scrabble, UNO, Strongholds, Pictoplay.

My wife and I used to play shufflepuck on the train when bored. She's way too good at it.

    That's what I thought =DD

Well, from my list, there's Monopoly, Uno, Peggle, /cough Chess and Particle Pong. I'd reccomend those, I guess.
