Go to IGN's website, DS section, Game reviews. You can then sort by Genre, then by rating. But, some personal favorites, Lock's Quest, Advance Wars, Fire Emblem, FF Echoes of Time, Valkyrie Profile, Disgaea, Ninja Gaiden, The World Ends With You...I could go on for a while. When I think of all the great games for my DS I wonder why I even care for this iPod.

    failing PHY tests
    little town of bethlehem
New Super Mario Bros wins the whole console. Advanced Wars:DS is a close second.

People who like JRPGS (lmao lame) will say: The World Ends With You, FF3, and ChronoTrigger.

If you like to make monsters fight: Pokemon

Hidden gem: SNK vs Capcom: Card Fighters DS

    Is robocalypse any good?

I'm also thinking Lock's quest but I don't really understand the gameplay.

Either of the Advance Wars games
    Zelda
Any of the Final Fantasy games
    Any of the Castlevania games

Honestly if you're looking for a good RPG, I wouldn't get Mario & Luigi without trying it first. It's mostly fan service and third wall breaking inside jokes wrapped around a pretty mediocre story with silly combat. I found myself bored to tears with it. The Advance Wars games are phenomenal and worth any premium you have to pay to get your hands on them since they both have become pretty rare.

I prefer the first one to the second one, but YMMV. If you're interested in Castlevania games, play them in order starting with Aria of Sorrow and skipping Harmony of Dissonance.

I really didn't like The World Ends With You either, I know people who love it, but I just couldn't make it any more than an hour or two in to the game.

Assassin's Creed isn't an RPG or a strategy game, try reading threads before posting in them.

No one should own a DS without having all of those top ten games (Well, except TWENY but people seem to like it.) they're all complete classics which combined have probably totaled months and months of my pre-iPhone playtime.

    I ended up getting..
    -Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass
    -Advance War: Dual Strike
    -Advance War: Days of Ruin

I got both advance war games because my gamestop had a buy 2 get 1 free sale going.

But does anyone have a suggestion on which AW game to start with?

Days of Ruin is shorter and has a more focused story. The two AW games are completely unrelated and play style is a bit different too. It doesn't matter which one you go with. Days of Ruin relies more on troop use, Dual Strike is more cartoony and relies on Officer powers (CO strengths).
