iPad On iPhone I have a complex system: EACH ROW of each page (almost entirely games) has a "best" game on the left. Followed by three folders of "other similar games" (three sub-types of TD say, or dual-stick, iCade, whatever). So that first app serves as a quick-glance icon for me to find the entire "category" across my 9 or 10 pages. (I love the system and will share a screenshot--but right now my iPhone is running an alternate backup, containing fewer apps.) On iPad it's more of an endless sea of loose icons--but I keep one folder of games right on the first screen. It's a mix: frequent go-tos (Crux EVERY day) plus some older games I have decided it's time to revisit--or finally get back to, like Dead Space. (I play new games too, but they start in the "sea," not my first screen.) Scree is my own (gotta playtest!), and 868-HACK is one I am just SO terrible at, it's like my White Whale! I leave that smug smiling icon there to taunt myself. The folder has other pages, but they're "former bests." Squids Wild West will soon graduate to this page, as soon as I finish Republique. And you DO use Emojis as folder-name icons don't you? You should!
This is such an amazing thread! I do a similar one game out then folder structure. So DQV out next to my RPGs folder. About ten categories. There's also a 'queued' folder at the top. The games I'm actively playing are in two rows on the bottom of my front page, roughly in order of biggest and most involved first, to short n' casual.
It rocks and if someone has a game you've been curious about you can ask them straight up I posted my RPG premium page now my assorted w sports and crafting too
Me too way too long and now that I'm into Lego Star Wars complete saga and monster hunter not helping
Great thread! I'm always curious what games other people have and how they organize their phones. I don't like folders but I do obsessively group my games into categories. So while these aren't necessarily all my favs, since I've chosen to put train & racing/automobile games first, those are obviously my favorite type of games. Planes, trains and automobiles for me! Also, submarines.
Click the 'add an attachment' line in the compose message window. Can upload from library there. Here's my games page. Archives and to-be-played, plus stuff I return to every now and then. The folders tend to have a few pages, with the most played games pulled to the front. There's lots of movement between here and the front page.
