There is not one best game -- it's too broad a category. We can talk about deepest games, or most polished games, or even best casual, strategy, or action games. But one single best title on this platform? Nah...
Of course, I am not taking a reviewers standpoint (i.e. looking at every element of a game and game type). This is just the most fun I've had with a game since I got my touch.
Well, if you're into TBS games and have the money, yeah it's worth it. I love it. It might be because it's not like the other TBS games out there. This time, you're controlling a few original characters against a few other original characters. It feels more like Fire Emblem than Advance Wars, or the other iPhone TBS games where you have huge armies against eachother. So yeah, if that interests you, I'm sure you'll like this. Only issue is no online play, but it's not a huge deal.
I think what you mean then is "Favorite game of the year so far." For me that's Space Miner. Another fun category is "Biggest surprise of the year" -- so far it's a tie between Monster RPG 2 and Raging Thunder 2.
I've got Real Racing of course, and the rest Inc. Raging Thunder2. (online racing is ace fun) I don't wish to deny their respective virtues. G.T. Racing is good though, it's very ambitious in scope there's lot's of game in there. The many cars have differences, keep it fresh it is a little reminiscent of TOCA 2, a little. Speeding round Laguna Seca in a fast car. I think it's G.L.'s best game (so far) but I like the racing games. It's still a solid page 1 game. There are so many worthy games, I can't pick one across so many categories. Picking good games from so many is the key.
Umm so you created this thread just to tell everyone about a game no one's ever heard before is the best game ever and ask if everyone agrees with you?
Ummm...and you responded just to state the obvious? If you haven't heard of it, that's probably because it's relatively new. Well...now you've heard of it. And yes, I am asking if anyone agrees with my assessment. They would obviously respond to this thread if they had played it. This isn't rocket science, Aurora.
If I could make a request....please don't do these threads. I make the "best games of the month" awards thread and I do them systematically an count ALL the votes...and at the end of the year I will do a best games of the year award. It is far too early to do that now, so please avoid making threads like this
no I don't feel that way....it's just i do it more efficiently and I time it better....cuz it's only 1/4 into the year.........idk i just don't think it's the right time for this thread. This thread should be coming around Christmas.
