Anybody know why the icade has an 8 button joystick, and none of the games listed in this thread, don't support it? It doesn't make any sense. Since I new to ios gaming kinda, why haven't fighting games been supportive of icade, when icade could have saved this genre on the ipad and iphone? Doesn't make any sense.
It is strange. That said the icade works amazing with blutrol and soul caliber etc. I've emailed devs about it with no response. IMO KOF will be the first franchise to come across as SNK have already ported a few games with icade support. Whoever does it first will get a nice little bump in sales as will ION.
-Apple doesn't support iCade, which means that those devs couldn't write "This game offers iCade support" in the description. -Some players using iCade and some others using touch controls wouldn't be fair. -Using iCade would mean that you would have access to light, medium, heavy punches, kicks, and so on, but what about the people who use touch controls? They couldn't do that. Maybe it's because I'm already used to touch controls in fighting games (KOF, SF and SC), but I don't see iCade support that necessary.
My favorite games are... well, almost every fighting game I played... Super Smash Bros (n64), Super Smash Bros Melee (GC), Super Smash Bros Brawl (Wii), KOF-i 2012 (iPhone), SFIV Volt (iPhone), SFxTK (iPhone), Soul Calibur (iPhone), Soul Calibur 2 (GC version, with Link instead of Heihachi! ), Tekken 6 (PSP).
Street fighter, Smash brothers.. fun stuff. Mortal Kombat 1+2 get a nod for being big news back in the day
Tekken Bowling, and Namco will release soon Tekken Card Tournament. Yup, that's right, we don't have any real Tekken game, but well, Namco released Soul Calibur for iPhone, so I hope we'll get one real Tekken game. Maybe TKxSF?
