I like Groove Vortex. Or I did for about 20 minutes at least. Both of these are good games, but nether make my personal top 10 runner list.
Just now got around to playing Vector HD. What a blatant Cannabalt clone. They even stole the birds flying away as your run and the opening glass break scene. Not cool. Unfortunately they ruined the idea. Meh. Less than impressed.
Endless- Ski safari - one of my all time favs Baby lava bounce (though it's more like an endless thrasher) Bumpy road The mini game inside "paper monsters" is quite addictive Dino rush (oldie but goodie) The original whale trail, before the freemium update Bob jump (endless climber, but same basic concept, very addictive) Runners that aren't endless- Super hexagon Rayman jungle & fiesta Tempura run Bit trip runner Mos speed run
You're really liking Tempura Run? Hmmm...I may check that one out. Whale Trail is one of my all time favorites as well, and I actually don't think the Freemium update was too bad. They also have Whale Trail, Jr. - which is whale trail for kids -- which is my 4 year old daughters all time favorite game.
Whale Trail was permanent on my iPhone until the freemium model killed it for me too. Assassinated would be more accurate. They assassinated their own game. Slaughtered would be even better... Might have to check Tempura if it stands next to those quality games like Bit.Trip Run or Super Hexagon for example.
I like Groove Vortex too, the next update will come with an update with a hardcore mode, unless of course the devs did not get enough sales cause of the backlash.
woah! 30 minutes with "Dont Run with a Plasma Sword" and I'm confident it belongs on my All-Time top 10 runners list. What Groove Vortex backlash? I haven't checked the thread out.
I just read through the entire thread, and surprised to see no love for Blade Dash? Free, no IAP, great controls, retro graphics and addictive! Highly recommended, in my opinion at least. It gets alot better when you unlock X Mode! Also , one of my all time favourites, Ski Safari! Love those snowmobiles!
