At Becks Prime right now eating a $10 burger and sharing a chocolate malt with the girlfriend. Life's good. An additional $5 for some killer sweet potato fries. Freaking great afternoon snack.
That is so sad. If BK was the best burger chain around here, I would die. And pardon my ignorance, but KFC doesn't sell burgers here (well, not serious ones anyways), and when I went to London a couple years ago, I don't recall their KFC's having burgers either.
Does it have to be a chain as all the best burgers I ate gave cone from actual restaurants. And I do love burgers. My favourite type is barbecue, bacon, cheese burger. They're so good.
Definitely. The more 'homey' local diners are always the best. They know how to cook real food and actually put time into it.
Going to smaller burger places is another (and better) option. : D And a good gyros is better than a burger anyway.
That is a lie. A flat out, bald-face lie. LOL My favourite burger is very complicated though. Would have to write an entire dissertation explaining it. But here's a simple explanation. I like my burgers with chipotle toasted bread, with a splash of chipotle mayo, avacado, pico de gallo, fresh cut lettuce, grilled jabaneros, crispy onion straws, pepperjack cheese (must be fully melted) medium-rare cooked beef, cheddar cheese under that, and all smothered in crushed red peppers. I swear I am not picky, I am just precise.
No way. Gyros is the best fast food, least to me. It's the fast food I eat most of, with the second being the longer at KFC. : D
They are great, but to say they are better than a burger is blasphemous. hahahaah. I do like Gyros though I really do.
Ooh, there's a mom 'n pop shop run by an Iranian near where I live that makes the absolute best gyros I've ever had. He makes his own tzatziki fresh. He's pricey, but so worth it. I think he works there alone because I never see anyone else working there when I go, but he's always friendly and chatty, glad to give samples of his stuff. Old world hospitality. I love it. When it comes to burgers I'll take restaurant burgers over chains. You always get fresh ground beef and premium ingredients, and it's almost always nice and thick. Another place by me, TJ's (formerly known as the more verbose Turtle Jack's) serves up some great burgers. They have a great backyard barbecue burger with BBQ sauce and crispy fried onions.
: DD Maybe you never ate a really good one?:> Anyway, I have the options with stuff like that. Like 15 fastfood places within 10 minutes of my school. >.<
We can't manage five chains per city in the Uk because we have some history and culture to fit into our lives ! (joke) Anyway enjoy your bigass burgers guys. I guess I'm unlikely to taste medium rare fresh Bison burger anytime soon !
Rofl, true enough. Only in the US will you find people who brag about how many burger places are around xD.
I do like myself a good gyro. Man, it's been a while since I've had one. Although I'm sure the ones they make here don't hold a candle to some spots in your native Europe. Holy crap, that sounds like death on a plate.
Pretty much. I would never try it personally, but was with friend who did it himself. Didn't finish it all though hahahaha. The restaurant limited him to 8 patties and 8 cheeses. He wanted 10. LOL
Thanks everyone for making me drool over my keyboard. Having a nearly empty fridge makes the pain even worse. And I'm feeling kinda jealous of you Americans with all your burger chains. Although I guess all our pubs and Indian takeaways sort of make up for it.
