I've had In N Out burgers and they were pretty good, I'm not sure how high I'd rank them. But I remember this one local restaurant had excellent burgers can't remember the name unfortunately and they closed down awhile ago. There's this place in the mall that has a Texas Branding Iron, the burgers there are pretty good.

Honestly I think In and Out is seriously overrated. Nothing beats a huge-ass burger you cook yourself over charcoal that's nice and rare. I wish it were easier to buy bison meat that isn't frozen, because bison burgers own... And you can cook them even rarer than beef.

I haven't had trouble finding bison. But maybe that's because I live in an agrarian hippy community. I don't even touch beef anymore.
