hey guys, let me know what this is? I made the screenshots on my device and somehow this looks pretty similar like the videos and pictures I see when I google up older Cave titles but its not (officially) a cave game!?!
Unlike Cave shooters, Icarus doesn't rely on any scoring gimmicks or excessive power-ups to maintain challenge, but has you struggling to survive very early on, especially in hard mode. I"ll bet most Cave veterans would have trouble surviving at all. One negative is the lack of background variety and relatively sparse artwork overall, but at least the enemies are sharp and well coordinated (like Cave shooters, Icarus is mostly a one-finger game).
the two free ones on gamefeint were pretty good- should see them on gamefeint app. Not certain if still free.
now problem for me anymore - ordered my touch 4 YES! It is acutally Hotfield and let me know what to think about this... there are many similarities to DDP for instance: you can dodge bullets to charge up your laser, killing enemies is releasing many golden stars that you collect etc. but it dont says cave at all anywhere!?!?

Yeah it only lags when i use bombs. The controls are weird to me. Do you know any other games that are similar to TouHou Shoot the Bullet?
all BH games - except rRootage!!! - are unplayable on the touch 2G (at least no fun) Shoot the bullet is an awesome game but SOOOOO frustrating
oh yeah assault squadron is really good but also frustrating when you suck in hard mode anyways, so worth the $3 bucks! Looking forward to phoenix also, hope this comes in next days to a appstore near me!
