I have Flick Bowling, I had 300, now thinking of getting Action Bowling. Was curious what people thought is the best bowling game currently.

I thought downhill bowling was pretty fun even though its not an actual bowing game. I also like 300 for quick sessions.

I am not really considering Downhill Bowling, since that is kinda in its own genre.

I have not tried King Pin Bowling but out of the 4 or 5 i tried -
Midnight Bowling stood out for me.

It was by far the best presentation (with a nice story mode too), the best physics (other games had problems connecting for tricky spares, and good gameplay with a little tilt thrown in.

Flick bowling is going to win the poll by a large margin as it's quite popular (overrated imo). I find action bowling to be the best though, it has the most realistic pin action and it's kind of fun using the iPod like a wii controller if you feel brave. There is a free lite version out there now so check it out.

I am a fan of Freeverse, but now that I've been reminded, WHERE IS OUR UPDATE FOR PIN PHYSICS?????? Now that that is out of my system, 300 Bowl is an older App but awesome realism of ball and pin physics. However, Flick is the best overall presentation.

    Midnight Bowling

Good pin physics and good quick play. Great graphics.

I have yet to find a game that lets you curve the ball even remotely realistically.

    Edit to add:
I tried a free demo recently...forget the name. I tlet you curve the ball by drawing the path with your finger. When I tried, it either didn't curve at all, or curved so damn much it guttered. And there was no speed control except in the option menu.

And, I do not like bowling games where I have to swing my phone. I want to be able to play without breaking my phone or looking like a weirdo.

I bought flick bowling just now and it stinks. I hate the graphics and if I'm about to get a gutter ball it counts as a strike. It's pathetic.
    ibowl is better

Flick bowling has great graphics but not the best physics. (also wondering about the promised update) The only other paid bowling game I have tried is 300 bowl and I absolutely hate it.

  15. I have to concur I've tried quite a few...haven't tried action bowling though and Midnight was best. I like to change controls to touch though instead of tilt makes it easier to control ball after throw.

Flick bowling update was promised eons ago. I couldn't care less about putting an image on my ball, where the heck is the physics update???? I know you're here!

  20. Action Bowling I finally tried the demo version and not too shabby. Collision physics seem to be there so either that or Midnight Bowling don't think you can go wrong.
