If their were 2 games for the amount you hit it solid! Battle for Wesnoth is hands down the best TBS game on the iTouch. It's extremely long, offers a lot of depth and diversity, ton of characters, Character evolution, Cross platform multiplayer, try it free for PC as well. a huge update pending to fix the lag issue. Thats only scratching the surface. hundreds of hours of gamepaly and it never gets old. Its laggy in its current state but still playable. Kyle Poole is an awesome dev that has been engaged with the TA community from the day he announced it, and has updated us and listened to feedback every chance he gets. By far one of the biggest steals for its price.
Lol I can't disagree more. Those two games are two of my least liked games for the iDevice, but again it's just my own opinion, so no need to get your torches out CoD fanboys. Again, what kind of games do you like? Why do people come here and just slap on a "what game to get" and leave? Are we supposed to read your mind or something? -.-';
TD games? you can get geoDefense swarm+Red Conquest+Eliminate .99+3.99+0.00=4.98 Red Conquest is RTS but it feels like playing the first geoDefense. it has that nice frantic feel to it, it's awesome!. And geoDefense swarm is a more open TD that has a puzzle feel to it.
Kyle Poole lost any respect I might have ever had for him with not just releasing the WoW Dancer's App, but the way he acted in his thread about it and the vast amount of ignorance he showed. For 5 dollars, I would get Dungeon Hunter, but that's just because I loved the game and got a lot of time out of it playing all 3 classes. It's my favorite 5 dollar game. Now if you have 5 dollars to spend and want a couple apps that's different, there are too many fantastic combinations, haha.
For FPS go with NOVA; there aren't many good quality FPS for an iDevice and NOVA is probably the only one worth playing right now. Geodefense 1/2 are quality TDs.
