This means no side scrollers just belt scrollers (some say 2.5D, just think conveyer belt scrolling). And don't mention the ports (Golden Axe, Streets of Rage). Those are straight 2D games, not the type that was described in the OP. IMO, iPhone devs need to keep putting RPG elements in their belt scrollers.
