It looks ok, like Blue Attack but the graphics look more dull.
it's more like 2079 than blue attack. The graphics are are actually nicely retro/vectorish.
Controls are tilt to move. tap to change fire direction. It's ok, but I much would prefer a directional pad for the firing direction. I think there are better games out there.
I actually like Belowscape. Have never played Geometry Wars though but know 2079. What's definetly missing is an online highscore list.
Is it significantly different from 2079 or better in some ways that would warrent owning both?
You can drag your finger and there is a virtual control stick option in the option screen. I got the lite version and it was alright, but it wasn't good enough to make me want to buy the game.
It seems to be a little bit easy for the first few minutes.
Nice game (Belowscape) but I don't like the controls. You always have to hold the iPhone in a flat position und your fingers cover the enemies. A D-Pad would be much better.
The game is like really really watered down geometry wars. Nothing like blue attack except maybe the color blue is in the game. I really want to like this game...but it's boring.
does this game ever get hectic, like geo wars?
woaah huge bump. but yea in the later game it does.
haha thanks! its better then starting a new one without searching!
The game is nice, a solid enough Geometry Wars clone. It beats out 2079 for four reasons.
1. Playing field is noticeably larger.
2. A wealth of control options.
3. Graphics are much prettier and less PSX jagged than 2079.
4. Two modes.
The joysticks control option could do with some fine-tuning, the 2079 firing system is a little better.
Overall, I prefer Belowscape.
Their are ALOT of more control options than that. Look into the options menu man!
Lasse refered to the 1.0 Version, which only had the tilt to move option! 1.2 realy changed that.
