So it's not that surprising considering it's for the Mac. It's just high relative to App Store prices. I wonder if they'll port this one to the iOS eventually. mgford11 Well-Known Member Sep 30, 2010 77 0 0 #5 mgford11, Jan 6, 2011 Yeah...this is more like Steam with business and productivity apps than a sister to the iPhone and iPad appstores. Obviously I mean for the non Mac App Store version, seeing how that didn't exist then. In any case it makes it hard to swallow the full $20 price tag now. My hope is that iOS app store price competitiveness will kick in and force prices down/make for lots of sales. Barak Well-Known Member Mar 13, 2010 230 4 18 Portland, OR #8 Barak, Jan 7, 2011 True, but Bejewelled 3 was not part of the sale. Still too expensive for me, tho. $9.99 would have been easier to swallow. crunc Well-Known Member Aug 11, 2008 4,575 0 0 #9 crunc, Jan 7, 2011 Actually the message I got from them was that Bejewelled 3 *was* part of the sale. It specifically said that it included it. I didn't buy it, though, so perhaps that was wrong. In any case I'm waiting for this to hit $4.99 after months of price wars. apple-byte Well-Known Member Nov 25, 2010 232 0 0 Germany #10 apple-byte, Jan 10, 2011 for the half price i would buy it we've tried the demo version last week i own a Bejeweled 2 license for years Sambo110 Well-Known Member Nov 27, 2008 849 0 0 Australia #11 Sambo110, Jan 10, 2011 I really don't see them lowering the price on the Mac App Store alone, it just wouldn't make sense. goiMot Well-Known Member Oct 21, 2009 5,079 0 0 Physician #12 goiMot, Feb 8, 2012 Price drop: $19.99 --> $9.99 (You must log in or sign up to post here.)
