Easily worth it, it is leaps and bounds above IM+ and the rest of the competition. It has never once gone under $9.99 while on sale, so there is no point in waiting for lower.
i think i will pick it up @ 10 bucks, 15 bucks seemed steep since appsniper told me it previously was 10 bucks before now that AIM (with all its limits) is now covered with adds, it has pushed me towards a more feature rich IM app..and i think this one is it plus it has a notifcation system, so you can leave the app...that right there is worth it
You mean if I'm on safari for instance, Beejive will notify me if I have an IM? If so, I might get it since it's 6 bucks off.
As long as you don't need Skype. For some strange reason the (IMHO) most important IM is not supported by Beejive.
Skype is afaik the only commercial IM that uses an encrypted protocol. That means one has to either crack the encryption (which is of course illegal) or license it from Skype. I think that's the reason why IM+ for Skype is an extra app.
is there a guide for the background portraits it is a pain to go into settings, click a new background exit settings, go into Beejive and into a chat, to see if the background is utterly horrible, so far 5 of them are..and I am running out of patience changing them hopefully they will add, choose your own background from your photos soon
does this allow me to send a buzz (or any loud sound)? i've been using im+ for so long (first with a p990i and now an iphone) and it's been working for me quite fine but i really want the capability to buzz.
I bought this for $16. And it is well worth it, if you are into the whole "pay for a free service" thing. Ya know. But it is amazingly featured, and has pretty good support, and well, good enough to be on my first page, which only has the default apps, Remote, and this. So yea. If you love IM, this is for you.
