Love how people go straight to the end of a thread n ask questions when if they just read the thread they would find out anyway
You unlock the ability to move buildings, yes. It's the one after gaining wood for destroying something than it costing wood.
Like every Kairosoft game they don't lay out everything for you, there's a lot of learning to do. I recommend with this game to do a trial run play, just have fun with it, recruit whomever and don't worry about wipes. Then, once you're past level 20 with a few creatures start over and you'll have a much easier time with your layouts of pet habitats vs tourist locations and you'll understand the raiding better. Also, it will carry over some things from your 1st playthrough to the 2nd, giving you an immediate advantage. It carries over 1 pet to be your main and all your supplies/gear. I've put a lot of time into this one so here are some keys to the game, imo anyways: Recruit 15+ pets as soon as possible. I made the mistake of being choosy in my 2nd playthrough and this killed me as I didn't unlock the Schools until past year 6 (when the game records your score). These are the biggest difference makers so I would even recommend building towards them with your Pet Homes. I always have 3-4 pet homes adjacent and then drop the school in the middle of them. This allows them to level up extremely fast while they are at home. Ensure you dig up the lvl 99 instructors off the Kairosoft forums to make this even better. Save your Medals. While I would recommend keeping your Survival Gear to level 3-4 when you're in the 20s the biggest is expanding your Wagon and Max Level and both of these become 50+ medal costs after the initial ones so start saving. Nothing worse than having your Party max level and not able to advance. As was mentioned in this thread, you should be grinding caves and upgrading the cave every run. Run your 2nd team on these if needed, its nice to have backups that can step up on your island raids. Don't feel bad if you get to a Boss and know you can't win, just Flee and then rest up and then return. You'll go right to the Boss which allows you to skip all the trash mobs on the way. INVEST. The other islands have plenty of stuff to invest in, focus on Transport and Population as these will bring more tourists and faster. There's also Assets which keeps them on your island longer. The best Builds I find for upgrading are Orchards, Thermal Generators and Barbq's. Once you have these unlocked in Research you can start to replace older stuff and upgrade your locations. A tourist spot will upgrade to a Campgrounds, adding a Thermal Generator directly next will get it all the way to a Hotel (might need some additional help next to it but I have 5+ doing this). Unit-wise the whole game revolves around finding the best pets, right? So, find the rares as they usually have the better attributes. The best one I have found so far has been the UFO as it has a buttload of HP but also has Heal abilities. Usually classes with Soothe will be low HP so its really nice to be able to have your highest HP class be able to help the other 2. Also, Speed is important as whomever has the highest speed goes first each round. Since you can't recruit Bosses the ones you should look for are the rare appearances. Also, if you have 3 starters that are all the same element they get a huge bonus per hit (ie: 3 Earth based pets). But, if you face the opposite element you could be in trouble.
Is there a trick to capturing high lvl, 5* beasts? They keep saying they dont like any of the baits I have (im trying to capture a lvl 45 5* sally prin, i have fatty baits and the second tier of the elemental baits) Thanks for the help
You can. There's an unlock in the wairo shop that lets you do it. which also carries through to your next playthrough, if you buy the wairoshop item that carries your save data over. Random notes about carrying save data over to next playthrough: 1) survival item upgrades carry over to your next playthrough, but you won't have access to them until you research them. 2) you get to choose from the first 3 pets (the "active" slots) in your party as your starting pet next time. It gets reset to level 1, becomes 3 stars, and gets 3 inventory slots, so pretty lame, except that it still levels up properly like whatever creature it is supposed to be. So if you have King Wairobot, for instance, he'll still be pretty amazing. 3) items equipped on pets don't seem to carry over, so unequip everything before buying the save recorder thingy.
Yeah. my bad I didn't discover this until you mentioned it. Just expected the entire WarioShop to be IAPs. This made a big difference and at 15k gold, it's cheap! Wish I had found it earlier, so many yummy bosses to add to my slave pits.
It's at least partly just luck. I've had captures fail multiple times on more expensive bait then succeed when I ran out of the more expensive stuff and decided to give the cheaper stuff a shot (same element).
