so now that we have 3 GREAT worldswith tons of secrets and collectibles, kick-ass music and a promise fullfilled by the developers, is this game worth 2.99 for you? My money have been well spent,seriously this has so much polish and charm, its unbelieveable I have all the great plataformers for the iPhone (Mos Speedrun, Rolando 1 and 2, League of Evil, Pizza Boy; even the new ones StarDash and Commander Pixman) and this has to be in my top 3! seriously plataformer fans buy this game! support the great plataformers ont the appstore so developers can make more and more for us!

Definitely YES. It's the best classic platform on iOS with the best controls for touch device. I wonder why Pocket Gamer doesn't review it.
This game may possibly top Pizza Boy and Soosiz as my favorite platformer for the iOS. I love every aspect of it, and it is amazing that the devs were able to release the new worlds on-time and also exceed our expectations with quality level design and more levels in each world. I am having trouble with 4 missing gems in stage 1-4 though, can someone help me?
Yep its a very good game, reminds me of a game in the 80's i played on my Spectrum (Wizball) Well worth the money, lots of levels, great retro graphics and great gameplay. Perfect iOS game

Hey syntheticvoid, Yep, apologies for that. We got a direct message mentioning that spam from another user. Tried to check it out as it mentioned bad press about us. As a company the spam sounded more believable. Unfortunately it was a phishing attack and it hijacked our account temporarily. Spammed our followers. We've changed the password and we'll be extra careful about this sort of thing from now on. If anyone gets the DM from us, please ignore it and delete the message. In other news, we've just read through the messages you guys left about the game. Really happy to see you guys enjoying Worlds 1 to 3 We're still working on World 4 and 5. We've got some details on our blog about the new worlds as well: http://www.kumobius.com/2011/10/new-world-details/ Basically we're making our next update to the game quite big, it should add roughly 22 new stages. We're inserting a new world between Grasslands and Crystal Peaks to help ease the learning curve between those worlds. Additionally we're adding the final world after Sky Ruins - the codename is currently "Wizard's Palace". After the final world there will also be a boss battle with the wizard himself. We're having fun experimenting with how this will play. As you can imagine it'll draw from old school platformers and we're also hoping to incorporate different features from all the previous worlds. When we have more details we'll share them Check out the blog post for some screenshots of the two new worlds. PS: plasmakirby3, there's a secret passage with those last diamonds hidden inside for that stage! Keep an eye out for any weird block arrangements
Once world 4 and 5 are released, this will definitely be my favorite iOS platformer. Wow...what started as an 8-level game that was criticized for lack of content is becoming one of the most bang-for-your-buck games in the App Store!
How many levels will there be after the update? I've been keeping eye on this since release, and I'm liking everything I see.
Around 50 stages all up, spread across 5 worlds, and the final boss on top of that. Haha, yeah we've certainly expanded the game quite a bit and aimed to keep the quality level up with every world - so far I think we've achieved that and we're aiming for more of those good features, puzzles and obstacles in World 4 and 5.
Wow... the update news sound incredible. So, so cool. Beans Quest is the most classic console like platform experience on iOS easily beating even one of its icons (Sonic). Can't wait for the update.
I personally prefer Sonic. Dont get me wrong i do love Beans Quest and i've been raving/telling friends about it a lot. Obviously it works as its different as you 'bounce' all the time, prefer games where you dont like Sonic, Storm in a teacup etc But Beans Quest is different because of that bouncing, but its a great polished game and the updates have been excellent as well.
We've just posted a new video of some level creation and gameplay footage from one of the new worlds coming in November. We start by showing off some level creation and then actually play testing the stage in the video. oh! and one more thing :0! could you implement Gamecenter Achievements ??????????????? please xD and add some of the funny promotional images you use and have posted in the thread. oh! and maybe adding some customisation to our bean , making him use a moustache, sunglasses, a mariachi trumpet, etc.
Wow, that desert stage is sweet! I love the water physics and I especially love those frog enemies and the bouncing beach ball! Great work! It's awesome how quality has not decreased at all while quantity is rapidly increasing.
Hey we have GameCenter Achievements and Leaderboards for each world actually! There are achievements for collecting all the diamonds, axolotls and achieving jump pars on all the stages in a world. The leaderboards are focused entirely on the total jump par for a world though. It's quite tough to compete in that. Oh yeah we'd like to drop more of the artwork and posters into the game but it's important to keep the file size of the app under control. Since every world is adding music tracks we need to balance what we put into the game carefully. I'll see if our artist can put together some more promotional stuff for you guys though
