v1.03 on its way! We uploaded Beach Games v1.03 yesterday, dealing with the followin issues: - WATER BALLOON: Fixed the unachievable goal to throw 49 yards. Comment: The hardest "throw X yards" goals are now capped at 45, 46 and 47. Still difficult, but at least doable. - WATER SKIING: Fixed a bug where passing a gate sometimes didn't register. Comment: Got this bug reported by a couple of users. We were able to recreate the bug here on our end, analyze it and squash it!
It's "just" a question of practice, because you have to learn the right timing. Once you get it, it is huge fun. There was a video by AndyC83 in this thread that helped me a lot.
For me, what drastically improved my score was when I changed my method of playing from tapping to sliding: keep touching the screen with your finger and keep sliding up and down to almost go in a straight line. My all-time best is 187 (285th in the world it seems, wow, sorry for bragging ). EDIT: And that video too. EDIT2: Found a link to the video in a previous page of this thread but it seems down (removed?)
For me the water skiing "Special" missions are a real challenge, like the bounce against buoys. I'll seriously try the sliding control method, cooltea, thanks for that tip!
I'll try to take down your records. Looks difficult to have over 46 on all 3 Balloon throws. I have problems with the buyos too.
Any chance of new minigames in this one or a sequel? What about an Olympics Game similar to this one... that would be sweet just in time for this years Olympics. Just an idea # I love this game heaps and all your games are an instant purchase day one. Please bring out more content. Keep up the great work! ####
