I think the save issue is coming back. Yesterday, i played a bit after lunch, my fleet are 3 ship with fully equipment. But when i coming home after work, the game is still there, no shutting down but my 2 companion is gone @@ and i think the map is the map i played the previous night, when i'm grinding to get my companion @@ (when i'm stop playing, i choose "return to main menu" and switch to other app and i don't shutdown the app in the multitasking)
This is a different issue related to the save. Did you quit (return to main menu) when you finished a galaxy and came to the first sector of the next? That is fixed in the update that should be live this week.
Hehe yepp! We have this fixed in the next update. Unfortunately but also luckily one of our Testflight testers caught a bug in the newest version. This will delay the update a little bit but it is coming.
If you release some DLC with more factions / weapons / missions etc I would instabuy the hell out of it. Do you have any plans?
I came here to complain about the exact same issue as Wjndwalk3r. I really like the game, but the fact that I have to play through all three levels in a row, without stopping, makes me pretty annoyed. I've lost several runs now because I came back to the game, maybe 30 minutes later and without force quitting the app or anything, and all of my companion ships are gone along with all of the resources spent on them. I've had this happen on any part of any sector, not just right at the start.
Odd bug, not sure if it's this game or not. When I open gamecenter on my air2, I can view any game in my list, but this one. If I tap on this one gamecenter instantly crashes. Just for this game.
Yes we have a bigger content update planned. Probably going to happen this year novemberish, can't promise though. But that is what we are going to work on next, that and the Steam release. Bringing the game to PC at the same time.
Finally the newest update is live in the store! Let us know how it works and if those black bars have been taken care of on the iPhone 6 and 5s!
I love this game. I must have put at least 20 hours into it. I hope you guys can add some meat to it so that I have a reason to keep replaying it. My suggestion is more ship types. Double the amount you have now. Have a some sort of random table that decides the chances of meeting any particular large ship in any sector you visit that has the thicker arrowhead symbols. Say 50% small, 30% medium, 15% large and 5% gargantuan. You only really encounter small or medium at the moment and they aren't much of a challenge by the time you've completed one map on easy or medium difficulty. Adding a bunch of very large class ships would add an extra bit of risk when jumping into a new sector (it would be cool for the gargantuan sized ships to be triple the size of the medium ones and to pack something like 10+ turret points as well as 10+ hardpoints for shields). You'd also be able to unlock them like the other ships in the game (have them cost 10,000 scrap or something like that). I think allowing the player to see every system on a map and to be able to clear a system completely would also add to the games replayability. Just my thoughts, great game!
We are working on a content update to be published in unison with the Steam release. We are going to add a bunch of new stuff! So stay tuned at http://battlestation.fi
Going to make some announcements soon, commanders! My computer broke down for a couple of days. Also, last weekend a post we made was on the front page of reddit. That was some exciting stuff: https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/3kj5ko/i_am_the_ceo_of_an_indie_game_development_company/ Got a lot of useful feedback from there, it is time to put the pedal to the metal and start on working towards a brighter future and more awesome Harbinger!
We are working on a huge update, and will launch a Kickstarter for it next month Have a look at the upcoming features: http://battlestation.fi/forums/topic/battlestation-harbinger-content-update-kickstarter/ Time to take Harbinger to the next level!
The Kickstarter for Battlestation: Harbinger Extended Edition has begun! Join us commanders, let's make it happen: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/bugbyte-ludibooster/battlestation-harbinger-extended-edition
Got this a couple of days ago while in bed with the flu. Surprisingly awesome but rather short on content and too easy. Beat it on hard while just level 3. Now I'm mostly replaying to try out the higher tier ships, which just makes it easier. Looking forward to the new content!
