Oo I didn't know that was you! Sorry I just pick the target with the most gold. You have a defence at a base nobody else has yet though, you like my suicide bomb tactic? I keep getting 90% of my battles all for the same guy still though but you and another started appearing a little now.
Unlocked my spearmen and sword men and doing pretty well in the gold league at the minute too. Just a warning to anyone as the game doesn't actually tell you but upgrading your gold storage increases the cost of battles which sucks. It now costs me 300g per battle and many only reward 700 or so and that's only if you win.
It's changed already (next update). From now on: - Conquest tax will be based on the league you've reached, - Raids tax will be based on defense troops size
Cool, be interesting to see how that works out. Really loving this game still but I do wish defence rewards were in I've likely won over 100 defences by now with the amount I'm attacked. Also after upgrading and using my Mage more I revise my previous statement as Mage's are awesome. The alchemist I feel is the weakest choice at the moment both tactically and in power, stat wise she's practically the worst and ability wise the bomb being thrown can be quite helpful if your careful not to get your own troops and the same goes in defence but overall everybody else has a better ability for tactical use in battles and better stats to top it off. If the bombs didn't stun your own people she would improve but still not likely make the cut for me. The priestess' ice doesn't freeze your players so it feels fair that the bombs don't knock your own down either.
Subscribe to the TouchArcade YouTube channel Battleplans reminds me a lot of Clash of Clans, but it's way more charming. The battles are too short, really have to rush through them. Worth checking out.
Hey, it says it's not available in my country (US) on android, what's up with that? I can still get it on my iPad tho so it's not much of a problem.
It's launched today world wide on iOS (may you saw the great featuring by Apple). But Android will come later ~late June.
Haven't played this in a while but I did use to enjoy it and play it pretty regular, can't remember why I stopped so may have to take a look again.
How do you get more than 1800 gold? I seem to be stuck there. I have 3 mines, now all my upgrades cost more than 1800. Is this a bug, or am I missing something?
How does it remind you of Clash of Clans? I think just the fact that you can control the units after deploying them puts it in a whole different class.
This game is growing on me more and more each time I play. At first glance, it has a lot of the F2P elements, but the way this uses them seems way more... fair? IDK. Like, the timers don't stop you from playing. There's no real penalty to not playing. No daily log in to make you feel stressed about missing a day. A solid campaign thread running through. Short (4 hour) events that you can participate in or not - you don't lose progress by skipping. AND, most importantly, the gameplay is fun and strategic. While I'm playing, I'm having legit fun. I like that there are no clans/alliances (which also make me feel guilty when I go do something else). It fills the RTS void I've had since I stopped PC gaming. Woo!
I have started again and haven't played in a while as I played during beta constantly. Seems to be many more things to upgrade and extra currencies now but nothing putting me off so far. I always thought it was a great game and love the graphics and all of the heroes and units, it is a very strategic game and very fun to play but also very frustrating at times when you lose in the last second or are very unlucky! I love how you can watch defence replays and edit your defence plan slightly, there are optimal ways to beat most attacks on different maps and you gradually learn what's best for defence on each map. But then it's still fair for everyone because someone being clever and thinking always has a chance to win. I'm suprised the game hasn't gotten more attention here due to its great gameplay and small bite size play chunks you can play the game in or even play most of the day if you like as all you ever really need to wait for is new troops if they die which doesn't take that long.
It's a fantastic game... But it slows down pretty hard after your 21+. I wish I could just buy the game outright and level up all the HEROs and pick who I like best. So far I have the necro and pretty solid so far. It's a fantastic game... Very very very well done. Just the typical grindy, timer, gold, gems... Free to play stuff
