Well, I'm still in the early stages, but I'd say that yeah, if you enjoyed the main game, the $3 expansion would totally be worth it, even if you don't plan on playing online, the additional campaign sounds awesome. On sale! I really love this game and can highly recommend if you enjoy TBS. However, either I really suck at this game (probably!) or it's hard as nails - most likely a bit of both - but I really struggle to beat the AI. Definitely a worthy challenge for anyone who hasn't experienced this little beauty.
Apology: Sorry, what I meant this is one from an original boardgame series. A few others have also been ported to iOS, but by, well, I hate to say this, by HexWar, iirc, which is a shame.
