Like the game characters! -- each of them is detailed. Even the bad one...its a comic art! bravo to Digital Tales!
It's funny how in jrgps and krpgs the face icons of the characters look nothing like the actual person in gameplay, but these icons don't lie lol. They look exactly like the person!
Thanks for your support, everyone! We're working hard on releasing this game on track, and we'll soon be entering Beta phase. We'll be soon releasing our first Teaser video as well, so you'd definitely stick around to learn more! I'm leaving you with just another screenshot, showing one of our brave Soldier's Special Skills. Follow us on FB Battleloot Adventure page
Great Looking The title is great and the artistic look is incredible, I could see this being a huge hit! Good luck!
i truly feel a amazing rpg expierience coming our way guys! watch out for this one.....the art alone is A+ and the game isnt even in beta yet!
Will this have some kind of story or goal to reach? It looks like 'worth the money for graphics alone' but I often get bored by these type of games when there is no progress besides leveling up.
That's a good question! For Battleloot, our aim is to have many different sub-plots entertaining players as they undertake the various quests. Also, every stage pretty much "belongs" somewhere, to help bulding a more interesting narrative. On the matter of goals, Battleloot quests are being designed to offer strategic challenges. Assembling 8 different characters in a team of three opens up to a lot of different party setups (defense heavy, damage heavy, etc), we hope players will enjoy to experiment with. Finally, each quest will have its own "Feat", special objectives that will offer a nice challenge to those looking for something more than just monster bashing.
On release, Battleloot will allow players to check their "Fame" scores on Game Center. While playing, players will collect Fame by clearing quests (just once, no further Fame will be gained from repeating them) and, most of all, by accomplish Quest Feats. We also planned different Achievements, but those may be released on a later date.
Again, game looks amazing. One concern tough. What is the main Replay incentive? Not for restarting, but for contiunuing playing? Diablo have it's Loot Wow have the addiction of losing progress Fruit ninja have the simplistic highscore hunt Etc What will keep players playing until the end of time?
Feats would be considered the first and most important Replay incentive. The most difficult ones will require proper party setups, as well as upgraded equipments and talented skills. Players would hardly see themselves completing those on their first run. Also, we will introduce four different "Arena" styled Quests. Their purpose is to offer a challenge to the more seasoned adventurers, daring them to bet their gold in order to partecipate. On a final note, we planned future relases of additional content such as PvP battles. Just keep on supporting the game once it's out, and we'll do our best to keep you playing "until the end of time"!
Man that sounds sexy as hell! Can't wait to hear your in a beta phase! The game is destined for greatness based solely on all I see in this thread.. Visually alone as well as your comments!!
Beelzebubble, take a look at post #23 This looks absolutely amazing, I can't wait to play this game. I really enjoyed Battleheart, but Battleloot seems to offer much more strategic possibilities. This one is just sexy
Thanks! Hopefully the dev will give us a heads up as to a more specific time seeing as we are into February now
Hello again Battlelooters. We plan to release a Teaser trailer next week, so stick around for it! Apple submission is scheduled for around the end of the month, with beta testing eventually starting at some time before that.
Hi everyone! We're happy to announce our Batteloot Teaser is almost done, and it'll come with crowded taverns, seagulls and, of course, purple monsters. The game is shaping up well and we plan to release additional content and info in the upcoming weeks, so keep an eye on the forum!
