Its a good game with some slow flaws like the timers. I think i will give it a couple of more days before uninstall due to the timers

I am pushing on. Playing even when slots are filled I have missed out at least 6 purple chests! Legendary I supposed?

LOL, I did this as well, next two chests missed - one purple Grrrr!
However I am enjoying this game in short bursts, so much so that I bought the newbie pack.

It's pretty fun.. I bought the monthly pack on day one since I could tell immediately the game was likable.. Then a few days later, I gambled, not knowing if the two packs would overlap or what, and I bought the Newbie pack. Luckily they did overlap, and now I get 50 gems a day from the daily pack, and get a second 50 gems a day from the Newbie pack.

Hit a paywall it seems around 1700-1800 power. Been there for days.

This is a very polished game with a great fight mechanic and an addictive upgrade system.

But the timers kill it for me. Until Level 17 I had a blast with all the different mechanics and ingame currencies. But now the game deadlocks itself, hindering every progress with a multitude of timers and an increase in cost for even the slightest activity.

I already invested something around 10 bucks in packs but I think I am not willing to put any more money into this because the paywall seems to get a bit too steep for my taste.

I think MtgPuzzle Quest handles the timer and currency stuff quite nicely, never letting the game come to a complete standstill. Maybe the devs of BattleJack should get some inspiration from there.

I they remove some of the timer restrictions, this might become one of my favourite timesinks again. Right now I will just wait for a patch to see if the loosen the grip a bit.

Alas my run has to come to an end. As what other posters have said.. F2p wont get u far. I can't get further! I can't even beat the Titan at level 13. Seriously! I hope they will tweak the game more for f2p!

Agree with others above. This is a relatively fun game that has decided to kill itself between dual timers for both energy and opening of chests. Chests are the number one way you get resources you desperately need to keep level,IGN up heroes, abilities, etc, and you can only trigger a timer to open chests one at a time (or pay premium currency, of course!) if you keep playing when you have max chests (4) yo lose them. This means you end up in a place where you are constantly figuring out whether to play the game or not which defeats the whole purpose.

Huge jump in paywall around 1500 power. I got enough enjoyment that I don't mind having bought the founder pack but too much frustration vs. fun right now so I'm out.

Such a cool gameplay concept wasted. Thanks for the 1500 paywall warning. Almost bought the newbie pack. Glad I didn't. Deleted again.

Yeah, this one didn't last two full days for me. A screen full of a hundred heroes to level up is already one of the biggest turnoffs for me in any video game, but this one takes it too far even for mobile gaming. It's hilarious just how punishing it is to play with chest slots full as it is, yet they still deemed it necessary to drop steep stamina/energy system costs on top as well. Like "Oh, what's that? You're really enjoying the game and still want to play? ENERGY BLOCK, HOW YOU LIKE OUR GAME NOW?! Pay up suckas."

Nexon developed an overglorified blackjack game where spending hundreds of dollars probably doesn't make much of a difference at all by end game. And unlike real life blackjack, you never get your money back. This was designed specifically to catch 10-20 bucks out of thousands of casuals in the early game, and to suck out literally thousands without any exaggeration or hyperbole whatsoever from the handfuls of whales that Nexon and the like(Tencent, Supercell, MachineZone) can always count on. Pretty cool game, completely tainted by way too many freemium mechanics at once. Can't blame them, though. Tencent is currently valued at over 300 billion dollars. They could buy Disney three times.

I just deleted it myself. I really love the game too. Shame really. If it were a premium game with no timers then I would have paid 9.99 no probs.

I deleted my copy on day two or three but wanted to join the rebellious voice here. Too much greed in gaming, and when that greed is this over the top, it's only right to speak up. Listen to the gamers, devs. Do you want the chance at a quick influx of cash and bad reputation, or would you rather build a following of devoted, lifetime customers?

I almost reached level 20, but I don't think I can bear the pain any longer. I am very disappointed and really don't want to delete it, but this game puts the shakkles on EVERYTHING. It's impossible to have any kind of gameflow going, every step is regulated by timers and the bazillion different ingame currencies cancel each other out completely.

I would'nt bother if it there wasn't so much wasted potential.

    Will delete it now....
