The arena mode he mentioned may be like that with leaderboards to see how far you can get, he said it's similar to the first game. Although things like that get hacked a lot. Really can't wait for the game Dungeon Quest is keeping me happy for now, all of you should try that while waiting as it is free. But yes TA should cover this game they cover piles of useless games and this has to be one of the most anticipated?
Quick update - Here's the stuff I want to polish up before release: 1) Ten more random zones to go kill stuff/level up in 2) The endless "arena" 3) The final boss(es). 4) A handful of random encounters and story events, which take anywhere from a few minutes to a few hours of work. Based on the above, and the fact that we're going to be spending a little time with a newborn soon, we're likely to submit roughly around mid May, with a likely release on Wednesday, May 28th due to review times etc. There's also some extra side-quest content that isn't finished and I'd like to squeeze it in, but only if I get through that "must have" list above quicker than I'm expecting. Otherwise, it'll have to wait for a free update down the line (no doubt wrapped up with some balance tweaks and bug fixes post release).
TA covers us whenever we have something to show - our trailer they responded to instantly. There just hasn't been any concrete news or media coming from us, so there's just not much to "cover". As for leaderboards, they do get hacked a lot, but they also can now be policed manually by developers. It's possible for me to go in and flag an account as a cheater and have their scores permanently ignored. Leaderboards for the arena makes sense and is a likely addition.
Aye I remember the news about devs being able to police it now but some don't bother, I'm glad you'll try though. I hope once you get the new trailer when all is done it gets a lot of coverage then : ) Im sure regardless of whatever games I'm playing or whatever is released around the time of this I'll drop everything and just play this....if only I could do that to work for a week too!

I'm all for delays if it means more content and an overall more polished product. Still hype from that single trailer you posted, but would it be too much to ask for another teaser while we wait another month?
