    Lol i think you misunderstood. I meant add as in update. They already said that there will be no multiplayer at launch and that they'll think about adding it in a later update.

    Hey, is there like a levelling system for each class, and as you progress you get abilities for that class. I really really hope so

    It's still possible. Would definitely be a lot of work though, to make sure all 150+ skills behave consistently over a network. I'll be honest, I'm more inclined to just spend my time expanding the world and making the single-player experience bigger in future updates, and/or to work on a PC/Mac port for steam. Co-op would be, comparatively, a ton of work and not as widely appreciated. Still, it's got potential so it's something I'd like to see some day.

    More or less. When you level up, you allocate points as you wish to 6 core stats (strength, dexterity, intelligence, endurance, skill and charisma). These stats improve your power by themselves (strength = melee damage, intelligence = spell power) but they also allow you to learn new skills from the 12 classes. For example, the Ranger's "Barrage" attack (an early ability) requires that you've spent 4 points in skill, and 2 points in dexterity. As you learn more things from the same trainer, the requirements increase: the 10th ranger ability requires 26 skill and 15 dex.

    It's entirely possible to master a couple of classes in a single play through, especially if they overlap. For example, a rogue is primarily dex/skill, and a monk is str/dex, so it wouldn't be hard to be a monk with stealth, or a rogue who shoots Ki. The only limitation is where you put your stats, and the limited space on your action bar (at max, you can equip 8 skills).

    I seriously love that you are focusing on single player over multiplayer. I am assuming there will be Game Center achievements and leaderboards though right?

    We do plan to add a survival arena (not yet implemented, but the pieces are there). It would make sense for leaderboards on that. Achievements are on the agenda too.

    Yea, I described how that'll work a few pages back. The plan is you'll be able to start a new game but retain the skills you learned in a previous playthrough, making it possible to amass every skill over the course of multiple replays.

    I'd be happy having this as single player, arena sounds like it'll be a great addition in the future too for once I've completed the game at least once or a couple of times.

    Obviously extending single player would be great and co-op would be fun for something like this. I just hope the game does incredibly well and you can do everything you've thought of for it.

    So will it be like Diablo with a BattleHeart spin? Or am I still missing what I'm seeing in the Vid?

    Well, regardless I'm sure ill love it just like all of your games from Zombieville to omg pirates, all fantastic.

    Speaking of Omg Pirates... I'd love to see y'all take another stab at the scrolling fighter genre.

    We'll put together a new video once the game is submitted (probly end of April.)

    We've been working on new zones and quests constantly, along with bug fixes and balance tweaks. We've got more friends/family playing the game than any prior release, and the response has been fantastic.

    Some of the 12 class trainers in the game are only exposed after doing a short quest line to unlock them, and as of today all 12 are now accessible. Until the end of march we're putting aside most story-driven content and focusing on just building places to go fight so that it's possible to reach high level (30+) and challenge the final boss. At that point the game will at least be "complete" and any further quests/zones we add will be optional side things.

    Roughly how many hours will the game be? And what are some type of quests besides the usual go fetch a carrot and I'll give you some coin like most other games have?

    It's hard to put an hour count on it til it's actually done. Our hope is that if you just blast through it as fast as you can, it's still a bit longer than the original battleheart, and that like the original it's fun to replay with a different class setup.

    Our quests tend to involve going to a place and killing things, but we add in some humor and choice whenever possible. One example, there's a guy who hires you to help him perform a ritual in a nearby crypt, but it's possible to lead him out there and instead of helping him as you promised, you can just rob him instead.

    So when you said end of April is that near when we may get the game?

    Also is it one big open world or are zones instanced? Like on WoW when you go into a dungeon, although that's obviously for different reasons.
