thank you for ur reply, my mage is pure wizard + a bit of witch,i set the game to the easiest mode still cannot pass, if i cant kill the boss which mean i cant have NG+, i will not have a new char with all mage skill unlocked at 1lvl =( pls help me
can anyone please explain to me how to get so many higher tier skills of diff classes into a new character @ 1lvl?? i just use press the "GEAR" and "paper +" but all i get is a dupilcate of my exist charter, no new game is made... i played 20 hours... and my character only @ 25lvl~~ this is so depressing~~ pls help me~~~
I'm confused as well by all these people saying to use all these skills at low levels which makes it impossible to get those skills. Unless it's on second play through. I don't know, I must suck at this game because I have great gear, level 25 or so, and I can barely eke out 15 kills in the arena. And I get completely thrashed in any dungeon over level 15.
Hi, If anyone still needs help figuring out how to get the different trainers, I gave detailed instructions for all and I'm working on completing all the skills trees: http://www.appunwrapper.com/battleheart-legacy-guides/
The "Level 1" builds are all for Newgame+, mostly for getting back to a higher level as fast as possible (from what I read, not there yet myself, still struggling with last boss). Can you post your Arena build? This will help finding room for improvement. Also, check the various builds listed in this thread. Quite a few go past 100 kills easily.
If their anything like me, I trained until I had every skill before taking on the boss. Grinding through the Crystal Chambers and their respective bosses a few times really help to level up and gain the necessary points for skills.
Here's a screen shot of my last build before New Game+: And this is what the option for New Game+ looks like.
God, I love the way we can duplicate our save files. That means you can even start a NewGame+ while still playing with your regular game. I wish more developers would add the option, especially one so user-friendly, not requiring jail breaking or third-party software. You rule, Mika.
lol, my hero's name is xavias. ;D I finalized your build. Active skills (in this precise order) are: [Ranger]Premeditate [Bard]Song of Inspiration [Barbarian]Last Stand [Paladin]Power Infusion [Barbarian]Enrage [Knight]Defend [Witch]Blood Magic [Paladin]Radiance Passives: [Battlemage]Arcane Potency [Wizard]Mass Destruction [Paladin]Devout [Monk]Dragon Style (better than Rogue's Coup De Grace since Radiance won't be active long enough) [Barbarian]Death Wish [Knight]Shield Training Equipment: [Chest]Cowl of the Red Fang [Shield] [Trinkets]2x Black Candle Strategy: You basically hit the exact order of skills. There are exceptions though; In the beginning, don't use Defend until you are at approximately 21% (make sure you are above it, if you aren't, don't proceed with the next step, which is a risky one, and just make sure you are low enough to activate Last Stand and to finally use all the skills). If you are at slightly above 20% life, activate Last Stand which makes you guarantee to not take any enemy damage at all - but it still lets you take the 20% life loss from Blood Magic. So once you hit it, you should be slightly above 0% health, allowing you to gain the maximum potential from Death Wish (the lower your health, the more damage you deal, similar to Huskar in Dota). In that case, you can finally go brainafk and use all skills in that exact order all over again, all the time. Last Stand is now always active (being that close to 0% makes you hope you never fail to click that skill) and Defend will prevent you from killing yourself with Blood Magic, since atm it counts as physical damage which Defend is all about. This may not the fastest way to kill stuff outside of the arena, but the safest. You cannot die when using this technique. Also consider this to be a temporary strategy since it's highly unlikely that those skills will continue to work like this forever. edit: I played around with waves and kills related to loot rewards, and it seems that even reaching wave 17 rewards gold items occasionally. However, between waves 17 (maybe even 16, haven't tried it yet) and 19, there are huge chances to get the highest tier of trinkets, and even one trinket I was never able to buy or having it dropped from the high level bosses, which is Ashes of Graz'bad (7 Weapon Power, 7% Life Drain). It is the trinket which nets you the highest resale value of all trinkets (3050 gold, Antique Hourglass being second-in-place with 3021) and it seems to me that it is currently not dropping anywhere else under any circumstances (I made a really count-intensive stress test to make sure it does not appear anywhere else in the game, yet chances remain that there might still be a place to get it) so trying to low-cap the arena might actually turn out to be most profitable finishing between waves 17 and 20. If you got that trinket though, please tell us where you got it. It really seems like an odd/super rare version of Vintage Chardonnay, maybe it wasn't even meant to be in the game. I believe it is on par with the gold items, but trinkets at that tier are not included yet.
Basic question here: what level do you have to reach/skills do you need to be able to wield 2 weapons? Specifically, I'm starting out with a Knight/Wizard build and want to be able to use a Knight's weapon and Wizard's staff at the same time. Is this possible? Thanks in advance for any info or advice.
Is there some inherent bonus involved in legendary weapons? Hammer of the underkings seems to have better attack than many of the one-handed legendaries. What am I missing?
You are including stats gained from strength. Your hammer will appear to have higher stats than the dagger or staff if you have strength, and will have less than the other 1 hand weapons.
You can not equip a staff and a weapon at the same time. The combinations are: Dagger, Sword, Mace, Axe + Dagger, Sword, Mace, Axe, Shield, Bow Colossal (2 Hand) Staff (2 Hand) Fist (No offhand allowed)
The boss has a 1 shot ability (his lighting explode). You can not be hit by it. As a mage, save teleport for when he starts casting it. If you are dying to the skeletons, try using crowd control skills to prevent them from damaging you. (Mage has Time Stop, and Witch has Horrify). Use Life Drain and Aura of Light to heal his damage. Equip passives and gear that prevent damage. Battlemage has -25% damage from elemental damage, and a 20% chance to be healed when hit by a spell instead of taking damage. Necromancer has -25% unholy damage. The battlemage spell Aegis absorbs a LOT of damage if you are pure Int.
Does Lethality works on spells? I'll test it, but I think it does. EDIT: LETHALITY DOES NOT WORK ON SPELLS. Death Wish is better than Coup de Grace, yes. Dragon style does not improve spell damage. Aegis will absorb 3+ Blood Magic's if your Int is significantly higher than your END. So using a staff is much better than using a shield. You remain invincible, but your damage is way higher. My radiance crits for 3-4k. Aegis will not only absorb multiple Blood Magics, but you will not need to cast it every time, so you can do the arena faster. Using Power Infusion and Enrage is slower than using the spell again. You are doing +90% damage when you could simply be casting the spell again for 100% damage. You also lose 30% damage from Coup de Grace.
