I've just sent them a mail with the questions I had above. Namely, additional content + kickstarter/donations/whatever we can do to ensure more. Is there some way we could get organized for this?
There should be an achievement for killing the final boss in a single blow with Iron Dagger and Villager Clothes, lol Cuz my lvl 40 Character just did it. It is a close one, and I'm open to any challengers
Where's Rasmus? I lost Rasmus killing the Spider queen as a Necromancer. Any way to get him to come back? This would be a good IAP side quest: Find the lost Rasmus in distant lands maybe he went away to the seas with Pirates?
yep, it is a golden build, I just tried it again: sit in one corner and then press any bottom that lights up, just simple as that. And I reached 370+ kills, I died of carelessness, with 5 potion and Aegis in cool down. I leveled up from 41 to 45 that one run, lol.
Does anyone have tips for playing a knight/paladin going to barbarian build early on? I am trying one, am at lv6, and having a lot of problems with enemies that my wizard or rogue/ninja/monk build breezed through earlier. Namely, my attacks don't seem to do all that much damage and I have limited reach / mobility. So I clearly take longer to kill my enemies, and take more damage in the meantime. I am trying to complete the Barbarian quest (kill the wyrm) but can only bring him down to like ⅓ hp before I die. I am also trying hard not to dip into other classes as far as possible to keep my class as thematically close to a pure melee build as possible. I have the standard attacks (power attack, hammer, cleave, that shield invulnerability, heal-on-hit and the damage boost). I guess I could try other quests and come back later, but I am wondering if my tactics are off to begin with? Thanks.
Very nice! I'll definetly try this build, but I'll first max my knight and paladin skills. Already done a mage/witch. And I'm totally in the boat for kickstarter funding. This would be my first kickstarter fund.
So I tried pure fighter, managed to get to lv8, clear the barbarian quest (grit really makes all the difference) and am now lv9. While I am wielding a colossal weapon, I seem to be taking more damage as well. I have trouble clearing the cyclops den (a lv8 quest)! Guess pure melee isn't that viable in the game. I will likely be rerolling a spell casting or ninja next.
Pure melee works. I haven't beaten the game, but I am a level 21 pure knight. Only non knight skill I have used so far is divine hammer. You may be having trouble now because you have a two handed weapon, so no shield.
Can you share your general tactics and strategies? When you face enemies, in what order do you take them down? Spellcasters first or just whoever is nearest? Even when using a shield and those 2 shielding abilities, it just seems to delay the fight. Sure, I am hard to kill, but my damage output isn't that stellar either. I am sure I am doing something wrong, but am not sure what, since the skill tree is so linear. Thanks for your help.
First of all since I was all knight I put all my points into str and end, which I felt was useful as both added to my combat effectiveness, as opposed to something like cha or int. I didn't worry about CD speed or anything. My accessories pumped up weapon, armor, or both. I would target spell casters or archers, then melee. Knight gives a great skill for this called shield rush or something. Target the Mage or archer, hit shield rush, and you run through everything to damage and knock them down. Then one divine hammer and they were dead. I have actually been surprised how well tanking works. Since mastering knight I have added a few paladin abilities, and I am now level 22. I just went through 2 level 23 dungeons without using a single potion.
Alright. 2 shards down, 1 to go. The dungeons on each end of the map are so boring >.< It's a pain keep changing my set up for different playstyles. Still loving my lion armour.
When you complete the game, you can start New Game+, which resets your stats but allows you to keep all skills you already learned. So you don't need to pump stats anymore to get a certain skill.
I'd love for people here to come up with min/max arena/end game builds for 1 play through, no +game characters. Would be pretty challenging, and interesting to see what people can figure out. I'd say level 30 would be a manageable level cap for this challenge, any takers? Speaking of this, even if Mika doesn't remove continuous leveling from the game, this could easily be fixed by implementing a way to turn off leveling/xp gain so that you can level cap on your own, any thoughts?
