Same range as horror, if not better. Legendary dagger called tombcaller, my mage char got 3, sarcastically. As for mage build, do not waste skill slots on aura of light, a 5% life leech passive should suffice. I have an impending doom build mage, works just fine, level 40, best around 300 kills. I still haven't got the best gear for him yet. The worst problem for impending doom mage, is its major damage radiance only count as 1 critical hit, despite it hits everyone... Still, CD reduction mage cost too much dmg reduction, and instant CD mage relies on luck, I definite dig impending doom mage among the 3 styles.

Ah, I didn't realize Lullaby would allow you to re-enter stealth. Definitely worth swapping out! Thanks!

And I have an El Gato capture unit to record off my iPad.

    dis pls :D
The wolf companion should be much more stronger at least. At the moment he is about the same as necro's skelles lol. And Apolo strike is quite meh to be honest, plus it has a bit of an annoying animation...
All in all, to fix the ranger I would suggest, again:
    1. Buffing the wolf (so he could maybe aoe or have his own set of skills?)
    2. Give 'em some stronger aoes
    3. Make bear trap something like that frost trap in WoW, when a unit touches it, it turns into a blizzard-like area that slows down enemies, so that a no-pet build can be viable too without resorting to out-of-class CC skills.

For the rest, I think classes should have an option to stand on their own, not being forced to mix and match with other.

And the last part, we need more content to smack our newly gotten legendary weps on! :D

What number of kills will likely land me the tombcaller?

    I have the following:

    Bael's Bloodreaper X 2
    Feung's Legacy X1
    The Scourging Inferno X 5
    Mad Smith's Gloomblade X 2
    Witherstrike X 1
Cowl of Red Fang X 3
    Robe of Shadowmancer X 5
    Mor'doth Doomplate X 2

    But no tombcaller...

I was told wave 17- wave 20, or 100 kills, and I think it's about right.

Can you post your mage build? I'm looking for a good one, everything I've tried has been relatively underwhelming.

    Sure.
Build focus on stacking critical hits, take advantage of impending doom to constantly refresh the CD of critical skills like radiance, Aegis and Banner.

    Aegis
    smoke bomb for survival
    Victory Banner for crit%
    Radiance
    Wandering Plague
    Ki Blast
    Blizzard
    Tornado

    Passive:
    Wild Magic
    Impending Doom
    Arcane Potency
    Staff Master
    Life Leech
    Student of Mind

    Gears:
    Red Fang
    2*Howling Sickle or Black lotus

Invest 14 in Skill, for a 90% crit rate when banner is on, or 100% with 2 lotus.

Tornado, blizzard can hit multiple mobs multiple times no target requires, ideal for triggering impending doom, and if u crit on wandering plague, every consequential damage will count as crit, again, ideal for CD reduction. Ki blast scales with staff attack power, u will be surprised at its damage. And the knock down is nice. Smoke bomb is a golden skill, I would honestly encourage every build to include it.

Awesome, thanks you. What about the Necro passive Withering [+10% crit on all periodic effects]. Does that work with Blizzard or Tornado?

-edit- my first run in the Colosseum as a lvl 15 Int character with this build, I got 111 kills and Divinity, I think that is a Mace or something.

    WHAT!?!? OMG.....

Also, sorry, i didn't you guys meant the colleseum when you said the arena of madness lol, i knew where that was :p

Also, quick question. Say if my crit % was 4%.... i got a trinklet that increased it by 100%, would my crit % now be 8%?

Well, it may not help a lot of folks here that have mastered the game (unless you start a NG without the +), but i finished updating my spreadsheet with all the skills, required stats, minimum level needed per skill, CD's, requirements per skill, and description. I do need to go back and fill in a couple mid level skills, but you can probably guestimate what you need for those.

Hope it is handy at least for some new players or people replaying

Nope, it's additive, so your crit would be 104%. That's why we don't have 100% trinkets. ;)

104% is a big increase. And 2 black candle trinklets gives 100% crit.. 50% each.

Is there any incentive to score more than 200 kills or 300 kills in the colosseum?

Seems like the list of loots are short and repeated.

Bragging rights alone. 100+ kills gets you the legendary loot that has a gold border.

OK, I gave up mixing Mage/Wizard/Ninja...

And went for just Wizard instead. Just got Thunderbolt... It's nice running into a mob... And playing human lightning rod :D

It's incredible, this game... The scope is ridiculous. It's like mini-Skyrim, I can't stop getting surprised... One or two builds would have been the equivalent of most apps, but this? Best spent $5 on the App Store ever.

Guys, has anyone been thinking about organizing a petition/kickstarter/something and talking to Mika about perhaps financing a part of the expansion?

I mean, I'd happily pay another $5 (hell, I'd pay $20) in advance if necessary to get more content and I'm sure I'm not alone in this.

Personally i'd donate to mikamobile as for a few reasons:

    1) Generally awesome
    2) They make addictive games
    3) They don't sell out to IAP
    4) There's only 2 of them, so they put a crap load of work into their games
    5) They try and reply to every tweet on twitter, including mine! :D
