there are a number of skills you use, besides passives that effect, crit, crit effectiveness, dam%. Victory Banner (Knight) - 50% crit chance, 20% damage Power Infusion (Paladin) - 50% dam Enrage (Barbarian) - 40% dam Envenom (Rogue) - next 5 weapon strikes do +30% dam Song of War (Bard) - 15% dam
Got a few weapons from the Colosseum. Bael's Bloodreaper is an axe. Should this be counted as a bladed weapon? Doing Colosseum with Horror (very funny animation), Ki Blast, Blade Rush, Aura of Light, Flame Sword and got up to 144 kills. It was rather easy. I have a feeling if I am more attentive I could get the number of kills higher. Going to get Mass Hysteria and try out too. Should be a nice combo.
I'm assuming Bael's Bloodreaper is bladed (finger's crossed based on my passives). Do you use Smoke Screen? you can almost keep that up 100% and when it isn't up you can Ki Blast/Mass Hysteria to buy you some time for it to become available. 30% dodge and avoiding ranged attacks is Huge!
Yes with smoke bomb too. Colosseum gets hectic after a certain number of kills. I think going the Horror and Mass Hysteria method will slow the pace a bit and still end up with lots of kill. I am also using 2 trinkets with +20% CD time, which means my Active Skills are up regularly.
Ninja / Rogue Can you use daggers for dual wielding (since it's still not clear to me if daggers are considered melee weapons or not)?
If you guys haven't tried, the warrior ultimate (Revenge) that is basically more than full thorns, goes really well with pala's Aura of Light + Power Infusion. You can clear waves just by sitting around. I haven't tried yet, but maybe ninja's lower cd on crit passive could make this even more op!
Axes are bladed weapons. You can see your AP go up with the Armsman talent out of the Knight line when you have an axe equipped.
What I mean is that it was a bit confusing to learn that nimble weapons like daggers are mainly influenced by Dexterity instead of Strength while bigger hand weapons are mainly influenced by Strength. So this requires some attention to Stat distribution if you're working with a character that's part Rogue. This was explained to me, and explained well, in previous posts. Since I was about to get the Dual Sword technique in the Ninja village I was a little hesitant however, upon reading that this was about dual wielding "melee weapons", not sure whether there would be another distinction similar to the one I just described. But I do have to apologize: Hotzp explained the potential use of Dual Wielding daggers in an earlier post. Not only should it work, it should be devastating, so there you go.
Ermmm, maybe it's just me, but... have you guys tried scrolling the stat pane a bit down? Can't believe I missed this playing through the game 2 times already... xD
See http://forums.toucharcade.com/showpost.php?p=3247671&postcount=323 Long story short, if u use dagger, go for DEX only, and never use one hand sword or axe in NG+(I think u can figure out why), should u choose colossal weapon, invest all in STR.
OMG! I'm speechless......... EDIT: So I just tested: DEX:dodge=2:1, and max dodge rate you can get is 30% from 65 DEX, after that, DEX provides nothing. END:HP= 1:5 just as I suspected. This should go infinitely. Skill:crits=2:1, Critc starts at 2%, I don't know the cap rate yet. But there should be one.
Envenom only affected autoattacks, and with Envenom on, game seems no longer reckon the weapon as "bladed", and Deep wound can't trigger. And Flame Weapon has the same problem with Deep Wound. I also buffed the attack with blood magic 20%, Armsman 10%, Word of retribution 20%(heal blood sacrifice with potion)
