For someone who has never played either game, should I pick up the original or the sequel? I'll probably get/play both eventually, but want to spend some time with just one first.
Well yeah but I love my battlemage, mage, and barbarian for collossal weapons. I death grip a guy in to the group I am working on then aoe them all with whirlwind and mana stike the flame sword one. Toss some chain lightnings and blizzard and thats that.
I figured out another infinite Arena build, this one not using the Premeditation +Song of Inspiration Combo I found earlier, for when the combo gets nerfed. I think the main culprit for infinite builds is actually Radiance. The spell is simply way stronger than every other spell in the game. It seems like every build I try to make for arena seems to try to get as much Radiance as possible.
Aw but it looks so cool. Can anyone tell me which stats I should focus on for a ninja/rogue then? I can't check the trainers because I'm on my second playthrough with all skills learned already
Found a bug in the arena: i was poisoned and on fire, but I had just used radiance, so I died when every enemy was on the ground. When I was brought back to life I got my reward and then was killed again by the still living mobs, netting me another prize
I managed to recreate this bug. The trick is to kill a wave next to a slime that will kill you with explode. You have just doubled my loot from arena!
Well my combo for arena without using the exploit is by using dodge items, smoke bomb, victory banner, counter strike, impending doom, life leech and aura of disease.
Unfortunately for me, it happened to me on my last arena run before I decided to reset. At that point loot was irrelevant
Mika, can you confirm that once a player makes a wrong choice at first Ninja encounter, ther will be no more chance to meet her again?
Found a bug when starting a new account. I managed to not get hit by the exploding dummy and then it got stuck in the tutorial. No matter how many times I used a potion, I couldn't continue. It wouldn't let me walk out either. Had to force close
Well I finally beat the boss. As a caster I feel that the boss is much harder. The trick though is to use DoTs. Mika can u put a skip option for the boss fight dialogue. I fought it about 6 times and had to read the convo every time. Now I will venture into the new game + and do lots of arenas to get the best weapons. Too bad I cannot overstay my welcome in arena due to crashes.
I have many quests that are level 10 to 20. Make sure you are walking around everywhere as some points on the map don't show up till you get near them. Also ensure you've talked to everyone and hopefully the quests will show up for you.
Yeah I agree to this, I fought the last boss a few times until I can beat him, and trying to skip the conversation by tapping the options quickly becomes a tedious task.. and sometimes causing crash (maybe due to the boss morphing animation)
My current colloseum build, as I approach my first character with every skill is something like a dual wielding paladin. Obviously not infinite. Possibly not second-tier. But he's probably somewhere at the top of the third, managing 120-150 kills per arena at level 38 with pretty average gear. It's built off of a tight rotation of wrath/aura of light and radiance. Actives: Passives: 1) wrath 2) aura of light 3) power infusion 4) radiance 5) twin strike 6) blade rush 7) shuriken 8) smoke bomb Passives: 1) dual wield 2) lethality 3) adrenaline rush 4) punishment 5) word of retribution 6) grit Gear: Weapon: 2x hammer of the underkings Armor: mor'doth doomplate Trinkets: 2x antique hourglass Between the hourglasses and the doomplate, the CD on aura of light, wrath, and smoke bomb are effectively 14 seconds and last 10 seconds. By staggering radiance, you can basically keep all 3 up indefinitely, barring radiance having to be used for CC. Changes I'm currently considering are changing punishment to devout and rotating out shiruken for another buff or another panic button.
I'm having a problem where the game crashes whenever I enter City Center, Arena or Chaos Towers. Anything I can do to fix this?
What does radiance do? I had this same build up until level 16 when I felt underpowered because I couldn't keep wrath/aura active.
