Is it possible to get the ore from the cartel guy and still work for him at the same time. Without charisma?
Thanks Dimir, yeah i think the loot table doesn't improve after 100 kills.. Btw, for the chaos tower boss, using twin strike is better than sneak attack, it has more damage output if you equip your second hand with the legendary sword / axe / mace.. anyway i think using either skill is fine, the boss will still die Nice guide!
Is the game really like skyrim?I read the review(ta) and the reviewer kept comparing it to skyrim.I know it's open world but I figured it looks more like dark souls,How is the combat I've never played the first game so I'm unaware of how it works.I really like what I see here so any advice would be of tremendous help.thx.
Not even close. Except they are both RPG. You auto attack + tap ability buttons across the button the bottom like Warcraft.
Definitely not like Skyrim. And it isnt really "open-world". The game is area based, though you are given a 2D map on which you roam between the areas. The closest thing that describes this game would probably be single-player version Arcane legends/Pocket legends with multi-classing. I really don't understand what the hype around this game is all about. I think this game is for people who are think all Free to play games are absolute evil and therefore never played the above mentioned games. I am not saying that this game isnt worth the price, all I am saying is that there have been free content-richer multiplayer versions of the same game out there for four years.
Open world in the sense that you can visit unlocked dungeons on the world map in a non-linear storyline. But once you enter them, you play them room by room. Right, camera/battle system operates like WoW/Diablo. topdown 2D view on a 3D environment. skill buttons at the bottom of the screen. 12 skill trees to mix and match. Sounds very simple, but the game is worth every penny. just look at this thread. it grows 5+ pages per day. GOTW, and easily GOTY contender
It is completely possible to get cornered in by ones minions. Since they cannot be dismissed or clipped through, this ends up being a reset condition.
New version is broken on 5s Never had crashing other than using summons and wolf. Now it crashes all over the place. I never noticed the problems with the first version using a 5S, and wouldn't recomend updating if you have one.
Thnks very much guys,I really like the look of this game. The combat though is something I can't quite understand even after watching videos and other reviews. It seems you just 'direct' your avatar and he starts attcking automatically,is this a fair description of the combat? Can you dodge or move in real time like WS? Also the reviews mention that the game is a completely different experience with different classes,is what way though?Do the gameplay mechanics change completely or like dark souls the strategy required is different for different equipment.Sorry for the wall of text but please bear with me I really the look of this game.
You can teleport and move around during combat to dodge enemy spells, charges, and super moves. These actions become really neccesary when fighting bosses. But dodging is also done automatically like other RPGs, as in it being a passive trait. The combat really circulates around your spells, auto-attacking was large in the original BH, but this one is more action packed with spells. Gameplay changes with the quest choices you make and which classes you choose. yeah you'll need different strategies for each class/hybrid, making this game completely replayable since the game is combat focused. Each class is unique and different If you like ARPGs then you shouldn't miss out on this one. It nails the combat like no other game has on the appstore. The customizations you can have are just endless and amazing. And theres a good amount of exploration as well.
Thank you very much you just sold it to me there,I'm sure I'll enjoy this one now.Again thanks a lot.
Finally unlocked everything with my main Character. That requires level 73 and the following stats : STR 44 DEX 39 INT 48 SKL 40 END 38 CHA 37 Currently farming to get the legendary staff I've been unlucky with the drops ^^
The Generalist skill is awesome! Now I have every skill from every trainer on my *first* playthrough. All I have to do is beat the damned final boss BTW, I disagree with the developer's decision (according to a rumour?) to 'nerf' some skills in future updates. If a skill does what it says it does and its use in an 'exploit' isn't immediately obvious to most players, then I don't see any issues. This also applies to other kinds of 'exploits'--like leaving and entering a room to finish a group of weakened monsters. It's a matter of individual choice and responsibility--so if somebody's use of an 'exploit' diminishes personal enjoyment (the game is too 'easy'), then it's the player's 'fault' for not resisting temptation and for not establishing new personal challenges. I don't think it's the developer's responsibility to protect players from themselves (maybe sort of like 'nanny state' thinking?). Besides, nobody else but the individual player is affected by personal gameplay choices in BH Legacy: there isn't any multiplayer or PvP mode where obviously 'unbalanced' skills/exploits are likely to favour only one group of players while deterring other players from logging in or trying out new strategies.
Well we can't really have leaderboards for the arena if there's an exploit that allows infinite spamming of radiance (damage + knockdown forever).
A 5S is my primary dev device, and I've experienced no random crashes in 1.1.1. Further, I've pretty much stopped getting emails about crashes since the update despite thousands of new players picking up the game. Whatever you're experiencing is pretty uncommon -could you pm me some more details? Have you restarted? Is the crash during combat or using a particular skill?
I don't know who started saying that, but I wish there was a game-type that included a level limit (IE : Max level = 30), forcing you to try to do the best build with a limited amount of ressources. As it is right now, now that I've unlocked every skill with my main character, I feel... "done" with the game, since I can pretty much change my character any way I want from wizard to melee to rogue and so on. To be able to get to the level you want also means that you can pretty much ignore one of the bard passives that lowers the requirements to unlock skills / equip items. Could that kind of "limited" mode be included in the game in a later patch ? It would give value to "building" the character, rather than "spending time to get all the skills".
Could somebody inbox me with some tips on this game? I've played every class tree and even tried some combinations for about two hours each and have found absolutely no enjoyment in this game. I'm just grinding the same dungeons over and over until I can overpower the enemies before they kill me, even up in the higher levels I've gotten to. The dexterity based skills seemed to get me the furthest but sometimes stealth can't be used before enemies spot your character and then.... Perished again, time to grind for level/skills/equipment another time before this dungeon is beatable.
Guess I'm gonna start over again or play two different files at once(I killed alot of people in crazy mode like an idiot) I think I'll go with more of a Mage guy this time my original game was a rogue/ninja(I put a good 10 hours into it)
I second this. I know the developer vision is to have everyone access to all skills and making their own combination, but focused build based on limited levels is the one who will contributed most to the game's depth and longetivity. I think when everyone has unlocked all the skills, they quickly become bored and have no incentives to start another character
