Who cares? It's a single player game. The great thing about RPGs is that they allow the player to regulate the difficulty level to suit their style of play.
If you do that, you need to make it a lot harder to accidentally leave the room. Right now tapping anywhere near the exit causes the player to exit the room. I find this happens to me quite often when playing a ranged character.
Is there a way to increase my odds of successful pickpocketing with the Thievery skill? I almost always fail.
Hey, not sure if this has been adresses but any chance for a pause button to be added? An actual pause, not a put iPad into sleep mode "pause"? Thanks, keep up the great work Mika!
Been on the fence with this, but have been following the thread due to all the positive feedback. From what I see, you tap around the screen and watch everything unfold. I like games where you really control the combat (like Wayward) vs sitting back. Am I viewing this too simplistically? Should I just download?
The combat is real time, not turn based. You tap your targets and then tap which ability you want to use on them. There is no pause in the action and it's not like you input all your moves ahead of time and then watch them play out.
Odds are increased by your DEX, but its not going to be something that works all the time. I might buff it though, or make it do a little damage, as it might be a little lackluster for an active slot right now.
I HATE point to move games..... and you just reminded me that battleheart is one....after 15 hours of gameplay!!! just get the game its easily the best game of 2014 at this point! there's absolutely no reason for you to miss it!
I feel like tap-to-move games get a bad rap because a lot of folks have been burned by bad implementation, or games where tap-to-move was simply a bad choice for the gameplay at hand. Not all virtual sticks are created equal, and the same goes for tapping or swipe based input too.
Just two comments back to you Mika, I didn't even know people used leaving the room as an exploit but I have done it a few times on accident but it sounds like a good idea to stop people using it. As for the regen change I only have life drain as a heal and rely on it in some areas I'd never use regen items if it only worked in combat though due to the length of most fights it would be useless. Also means more farming before going to a harder zone....although generally I finish most places with all 5 pots unused. As for the bad review there are always morons out there and sadly always will be.
Got a pretty sick build right now for the monk/barb/ninja. The stats are higher for skl(crits), dex(dodge), and str. In terms of skills, the build has high aoe and with the ninja passive Impending Doom every time you land a critical hit, your remaining cooldowns are shortened by one second. Since I have high skl, crits are always landing so cooldowns are super short. Also the passive Concussion(Monk) Your critical strikes with blunt weapons have a 50% chance to knock enemies down for 2 seconds. With all these crits going everywhere, enemies will be stuck on the ground, and your skills will be cooling down at an alarmingly fast rate. Skills: Monk: Ki Blast(aoe) Empty Body(4 second invis, 100% dodge) 1000 palms (aoe) Ki Shot(single target) Karma Kick(single target) Wind Walk(aoe) Barbarian: Savage Pounce(aoe) Ninja: Shuriken(aoe) Passives Monk: Thundering Blows Evasion Concussion Barbarian: Adrenaline Rush (health regen each time you kill an enemy) Death Wish Ninja: Impending Doom(every critical hit, cooldowns shortened by 1 second) Its pretty gnarly right now, i'll be playing with more passives, dont know which other class to raise up right now. I'm level 41 with about 15 unused skill points. Monk, ninja, and barbarian are maxed out. I was pretty general in explaining this, if anyone wants a deeper explanation let me know. I was able to get to 228 kills in arena, then got tired of it because it was taking a long time so i stopped, but could have gotten more.
For anyone who may be wondering; it seems to work fine on iphone4 so far! Very minor slow down but I haven't played for long.
this thread is to fast so ill just ask this question, game is amazing but i feel it's lacking quests to the point should I just be fighting random zones?
It's the game itself not the controls. If the controls work the game works. Republique works well with touch controls.
