I think there's a bug that makes poison instantly kill people with poison resistance or something like that.
I wish there was some kind of noise, like a groan when your health is low. I need something to remind me to take a potion. Sometimes in the heat of the battle I forget to look at the health bar.
+1. I'm struggling as well. Deployed my skill points and upgraded weapons, armor and learned several specials, and have things in my slots (regen ring). In each area, I go after the ranged enemy's first but beyond this I'm not seeing strategy in the combat. I suspect the strategy is more in the character building, which I don't understand very well. I dropped the difficulty one notch and still it feels hopeless. Something I just realized is that I can 'skip' battles by exiting the room and going to the next room. Is this a big part of it? Not fighting al enemy's that are encountered? I'm willing to start a new game slot and do it right if I've been doing it wrong.
Further I get .. The more I love it... I hate the ninja encounter bug but hope the update fixes it even if you're already having the bug.. I know it prevents it and I'm sure Mika is fixing it for characters already facing it if possible. Money seems hard to come by but I like that in a game. I just bought the original (played it on android but didn't own in iOS yet). Just to give them more money as I feel this game is worth way more than 4.99.. Maybe I'll just buy every Mika Mobile game to support them.
I know Mika has been very responsive and acting quickly to address reported issues with pending updates, but I would like make one observation: Stealth seems a bit overpowered, as I can walk right up to enemies, bump into them, even open chests right next to enemies without alerting them. It's difficult not to abuse this power and it has allowed me to survive a number of situations, that at my level would have otherwise left me perished. Can be great fun, but from a "plausability" perspective, it seems overpowered. So, while I can dance on enemies head without being noticed, contrarily, moving from room to room breaks stealth, huh? Fortunately, stealth cool down is only 1 sec (I know, right?) This is not a complaint, just an observation and if nothing changes, I'm still delighted with the game.
Which class did you start out as? I experimented with several different save slots and Rogue was by far the easiest to play early on. I believe you can get the first two skills from just one level up, and once you have Stealth, you can get a jump in on your enemies. I quickly abandoned all my other characters to play my rogue.
I second that, thank you, wow, how did I miss that (scrolling down char sheet for more detail)? Now, if there is a way to get detail from map markers without travel, my life would be complete.
Play in Insane difficulty and Stealth will be ESSENTIAL for Rogue/Ninja Build. For exploration it might be OP but for combat, not at all
Just proceed further until the end of the dungeon, where you will see a big treasure chest.. open it and 3 spiders will come, defeat them and you will get the spider gland
Whenever I use the raise skeleton spell from the necromancer my game crashes. . Any tips? Besides don't use the spell of course
I started ranger/rogue and then mixed in ninja and that seems to be a better fit for the rogue especially once you get smoke screen. I wasn't really having too many problems but remember that you are not well armored, I found good luck targeting ranged attackers from stealth with backstab which usually ko's them in one hit and them dancing around melee enemys until my skills are off cooldowns and back stab again
You make a great point, and what I didn't mention was that my ability to complete areas that are 2-3 levels above my own, has really been dependent upon coordinated use of Stealth and Bards charm song (not to mention a lot of running and kiting.) I'm sure there are a ton of dynamic combos to be leveraged, which what makes this game so cool.
there is a patch pending approval with apple and I think the official line is just wait till the patch is out, my understanding is that it effects all summons, ranger pet as well. I don't have either though
Can I confirm the maximum active skill slots is always 6 no matter how high is your level? Seems a little restricted for a game that allows player to learn from many classes.
