The cartel is a faction we have future plans for - initially it was going to be a short little chain, but some cool ideas came to mind late in development that would be a bit more involved. Didn't want to delay the game any further though, so we decided to just put a tease in there for now.
Sweet! Great to know. Does the same thing apply to the ninja clan? As far as I can tell, Eliza's the only person who ever mentions something happening further on down the line in her dialogue.
I'm really hoping it works right. In this update that's waiting for submission. I'm playin. On a 4th gen iPod and my recommendation is go into eston before you engage I any combat. I don't know why, but after a good 5 minutes in eston it'll run quite smoothly. Still can't get into that or the sunset grove though
Also, anyone experience the pet summon just standing there and doing nothing? The game doesn't crash or anything, but when I summon the pet in the arena it just stands there in the middle and doesn't attack. Perhaps this is just one of the general pet issues that will be fixed in the update? If so, feel free to ignore this-- I just didn't see it mentioned earlier.
Auto movement - great during battle but a big pain with NPC's. If they are highlighted your character keeps moving back to them. I can't find a way to unclick them so I can move freely and actually pause places. THEN you can't turn it off cuz you can't get to settings in a place. You can only get to the settings on the map. And I am not sure where to go next. I THINK I know but each place shows I completed it and now I forget the exact quest. Any list of quests? Map locations? Can't scroll on the map without moving? I asked this before cuz its really a pain to just wait and move all the time.
I apologize as I'm assuming it's been asked in this thread but it's too big for someone who just started playing. Sorry in advance. Is there a penalty for dying? Do you lose anything? Any repurcussions other than starting that map again? Thanks in advance
I just tried this, no luck, I'm trying to get a character I created on my iPad transferred to my iPhone. I started a character on both devices and whenever I try to download from iCloud it only pulls down the character that was created on that device. Does that make sense? My iPhone will pull down the character I created on my iPhone but never the one I created on my ipad. Is there anyway to do what I'm trying to do? I've even downloaded if inbox and can't even find a save file so that didn't work either.
A bug and two feature requests: * Re-stealthing with only one charmed enemy left doesn't work, as the enemy will begin attacking the stealthed character as soon as the charm duration ends. If I attack before the enemy has the chance to strike me and break stealth, however, I inflict the bonus 50% damage. * Mid-dungeon saving. This is the big one. Battleheart Legacy could be perfectly suited for really short sessions (as well as long ones), but quite a few dungeons takes more than just a handful of minutes to finish. Even on my iPhone 5S, the game reserves enough memory in the background that even answering a phone call and then checking my calendar will cause iOS to shut down the app, loosing me all dungeon progress. Since I imagine it is hard to implement saving of exact positions and conditions (though Wayward Souls does that beautifully), perhaps have the game save upon entering or leaving rooms? * Please, let us access the character meny during fights, even if we cannot change anything. Having no way to pause during battles is causing me no ends of trouble.
Great game but needs healing spells if played on normal or higher levels cause 5 potions don't cut it and leads to a whole lot of grinding!
Tips Got a tip for low levels. If you're low level, open the settings up and change the difficulty down to the lowest one. What this means is instead of 5 potions per battle, you actually get unlimited. Then head over to the Colloseum, and fight for as long as you can. It's not as simple as just leaving yourself there, as enemies WILL overthrow you, so you have to micromanage your potions and skills really well, but over time you just rack up the kills and XP, and might even find a nifty item at the end of it all To MikaMobile, any chance we might get a dragon boss at some point? That's all the game is missing
Same here. Trying to get a save game from my Mini Retina to the 4S, no luck. Tried all suggested methods so far :/
A lot of people are like that they seem to miss the point of playing games! It's like the people who moaned for being charged money for packs in a lot of freemium games like RR3 when you can get them by playing thru the game. Just some people I guess.
To unselect a NPC during combat, touch the screen with three fingers. Manual walking in combat: double-tap the screen (and hold your finger down with the second tap) makes your character follow your finger. Lift it and the character stops. This also works outside combat. Pinch to zoom in and out the map to see a much bigger part of it. Active quests are shown by a tiny sparkle around the dot on the locations you can visit.
3 finger tap isn't easy to do on the iphone, is there a reason why it isn't 2 finger? Request, a way to check out the dungeons and levels without having to walk there. There really doesn't seem to be a pattern to dungeon levels with their location on the map so its a minor annoyance to try to find a place to grind at.
