The way I got him is when I was walking around and triggered the 'random encounter'. He is getting ganged up and you can opt to help him. If you do, he will teach you Battlemage. The same way you unlock the ninja. You should help the ninja girl from random encounters.
Fourth this. Wayward souls is incredible, one of the best ios games. But this is a knotch ahead, in my humble opinion if course.
Do you guys tend to play longer games like this on your iPhone (for portability) or iPad (for larger screen)? Just trying to decide which device to install it on! #firstworldproblems
Just got my final crystal, the boss fights in this game are so awesome, just when i think the game cant get any better it does, you def need to use a bit of strategy to beat them
Bug: In the quest the witch gives you to get her book, I went to the dungeon and killed the guards at the entrance. I inadvertently exited the room right after killing them, not getting the key the guard dropped. When re-entered the room, there was no key anymore so no way for me to get to the dungeon and consequently the book with that character.
phone, but i dont own an ipad so i might be biased. this runs great on the phone though, and for me at least, having a bigger screen is not even close to being worth the tradeoff for the ability to play this or any other game anywhere i choose.
I encountered him for the first time in Desert Outpost - Fugitive Hideout lvl 7, which he won't teach you battlemage right away from first encounter. Then you meet him again as one of the random encounter on the world map, and after helping him you can ask him to teach to battle mage. However, I am not entirely sure what actually triggers the first encounter as of now. I couldn't get his event in Fugitive Hideout on my 2nd char which was a low level knight, so maybe you need to have stats in int (maybe str as well?) to trigger his first encounter? (my 1st char had 6 str and 10 int 7skl, and had cleave and up to meteor when I found him in fugitive hideout).
Hope the fix comes out soon. For some strange reason, without changing anything, im almost getting one shotted by poison spiders.
For battlemage to appear you have to get quest from royal guard barracks in capital which sends you to the desert outpost otherwise he will not be there.
Seems like using poison against the monk for the first time causes a bug which makes it so that you can still learn skills from her, but talking to her will have the same options as before fighting her. You can still learn skills from her, but probably don't use poison when fighting her.
I had mischoose to not help the ninja girl. Anyone know if there is a chance to unlock ninja class again or no. Pretty want him to combine sith my barbbb. Btw, Barb-paladin is pretty strong. U recieved more dmg from barb but can heal back from paladin. Pretty badass lol Wanna enchant him with monk and ninja so baddd
So far the gameplay for me is stand and auto attack and hope that you are a higher level than the content. Can't kite for example. Hope it gets better.
Anyone any ideas on how to complete one of the first quests? The one where the fella in the bar asks you to find the witch in the wood? I assumed it was the gloomy path to the south west of the first town but all I keep doing there is battling through to the treasure chest at the end.... Thanks Edit: nevermind I found it in the end!
In the third or fourth screen is a little path to the southeast, you'll find it when always keep going on the lower screen corner. It's just opposite of the path which leads to the big chest in northern direction.
This is the best game on my iOS in...forever actually,..however. It didn't do this at the begging but know it happens every mission. Anyone else? Any fixes? Or just wait for an update?
