That's what I did and he still became angry, the students commented saying that all my damage wasn't wizard based, but oh well.

I used chain lightning, meteor, teleport, blizzard, and conflagerate. Maybe auto attacks from my staff?

Ah, really? I used Teleport while spamming offensive spells like Chain Lightning, Meteor, Blizzard, etc... (all from the Mage class). I didn't use a single spell from any other class.

How does the story resolve? I'd hate to do it again from the beginning

Way different games. To make it quick, Wayward is a lot harder (but fun) and you go through dungeons and collect hats but once you die, you restart that dungeon and reset any upgrades you made in the dungeon. You have to learn enemy movements and attacks in order to succeed.

This game is more closer to an RPG but with action mixed in. Pretty decent sized map of places to go to and needs grinding which doesn't help as much in games like Wayward Souls.

Ah, no surprises. Ramus just ends up being pleased and the students are wowed. Then it's back to business as usual :p

So, is a different difficulty setting rly only affecting HP and Pots or does it also affect the drop chance of better loot?

This was probably already asked but this thread is exploding it's hard to keep track on anything D':

It's a little different. Both are easily the best mobile games of this year, first of all.

BH Legacy is more RPG than Wayward and has a very strong diablo feel to it, except that you have complete freedom in picking any skills you want as long as you have the stats to learn them. Basically it's an real time ARPG with no class restriction on your phone.

Wayward on the other hand is more of an action game and less about RPG or customization (not much freedom to choose anything besides picking your character and picking upgrades, to be honest). It has somewhat a dark soul twist and feel to it where every fights which are randomized ARE designed to destroy you. Finishing a stage requires practice and retries since options to heal yourself is very limited and everything will try to murder you when you have not yet practice their moves. It's more of a story-telling action focused RPG.

Wayward is definitely a little more challenging, whereas BHL is more about having RPG fun + customization. If you do get Wayward though, I hope your screen protector is very smooth (matte anti-glare type is my favorite) and not the cheap glossy ones that becomes sticky after a while. You are gonna get really pissed off when your analog control mobility is hindered by your cheap screen protector. lol

I used wizard and just rained him with spells before he summons too many of the little wyrms. He is kind of tough when you are only lvl6 or 7. It doesn't seem there is a limit to how many he can summon so you can easily get swarmed by 8-9 little ones. So the trick I think is to get the best weapon possible and just throw all your skills at him until he drops.

So done with all the monk skills, currently lvl 20. The stats that fit best with monk are the barbarian and the ninja, time to play around with it

Where does this quest line start? Seems like I am out of quest for my level. Idk if I have to grind for I can head out to higher level areas or if there are quest hidden out there. Thx :)

So far I've found the ninja skills the best for melee characters. A lot of them are incredibly versatile.

Also, one of the best beginner melee skills is CLEAVE from the knight. 8 hours in and still haven't dropped that spell. It's amazing.

As a person who also owns both, I second this.

Don't get me wrong, both are great games. But I would easily choose BH:L over WS

I have created a Class attributes matrix which lists which attribute is needed for each of the different classes. This matrix will help with character planning.
