Playing a knight and picked chain lighting to have something to help out with groups and guys far away. Now I'm thinking that was a mistake. I'm early enough should I just restart or will it even out as I go and be worth having?
Hmm--is it actually *in* the ninja hideout, or is it on the world map? I'm still looking for it. So far, the 'tent' areas on the world map near the hideout are outposts.
-edit- verlaine, its on the map Spoiler look where the huge crack in the map is, the very top of it, then look where the ninja hideout house is, inbetween those two spots is a spot on the map that looks like a tent, if you click on it it says "Midnight Canyon -lvl20" and "ancient relic site-level 21" you might have to beat "Midnight Canyon"- lvl 20" first to unlock it
Someone may have mentioned this already, but I accidentally destroyed the bandit chest at the end of the Rich Ore quest. (I couldn't disengage from the chest no matter what I did; I just kept attacking it.) Anyway, now the chest is permanently gone so I can't get the treasure. 1. Is this a bug, or punishment for destroying the chest? 2. Shouldn't I have been able to stop attacking the chest by doing a three finger touch? I tried it but it didn't work. Thanks! Edit: I noticed this WAS mentioned earlier in the thread, but no solution was given and I didn't see it listed in Mika's list of updates...
Ouch everything but skills resetting will mean I'll have to play through to unlock them all but most won't be useful without the stats to match them so then I'll have to decide what I want and play another time through with the stats to match what I want to use. Is there a level cap in the normal first play or the plus mode?
No level cap, feel free to grind your brains out. Edit: been glued to social media all day while I patch up holes in the code, time for a break. I'll catch up on the thread tomorrow.
Did you complete the Ramsus questline with the spider queen? If so what am I missing out if I use other magic besides wizard magic to defeat that spider boss? I completed it but he was pissed off that I used be romanced spells.

Yep! You're not missing out on much. The item Ramus gives you for completing the quest boosts your spell power (but you'll probably be able to find the same item in random chests, anyway--or you can buy it in some stores).
I completed the quest successfully while using Teleport. Maybe you're supposed to use spells from only the Mage class?
