Just bought the game and I'm confused... What do I do at first? What's my first goal? The side quests? The first enemies take me a quite long time to kill and cause me a lot of damage. Am I doing something wrong? I'm not saying the game should grab my hand, but I'm feeling lost.

    I'm running iPod Touch 5G / ios 6

Everything runs smoothly aside from the arena and sometimes the desert areas. I only noticed now because everything else didn't have a problem and so far the game has never crashed.

    Thanks Mika!

Jealous of all the ranger/rogue people it sounds like fun and everyone saying it's easy.

Can't figure out how to unequip my weapons though for the monk.

Thats how I feel I mean we need some optional IAP like vanity items or some way we can change our guys names or a skill re set type of thing.

I'm running ninja/monk with an emphasis on monk active and ninja passive skills, and so far he's a hard-hitting, crit-dealing machine. I also went far enough up the rogue ladder to get stealth, since the dex/skill from the ninja/monk build covered me for that cost.

    Ton of fun so far!

As always i am lost in the beginning stages. I have a level 4 ranger with just 2 skills, archery, hunting bow, sword upgraded once, medium chainmail, and i am just getting my ass kicked. All of the points of white on the map are at least level 8 or much higher, i got into the dungeon that was level 4 and talked my way out by joining the cartel, and now i am just not certain what to do next. The innkeeper told me to come back later, btw. Should i just wander about and get experience with thr random encounters because thats where i am getting hit. Any hints or advice welcom, thanks in advance

You don't have to "unequip" your starting sword, you just have to equip fist wraps (the melee-type weapon).

I think a fix for crashing bugs and Quest Journal should be a priority in the next update because many people are getting lost and unsure where to go next

Oh I read your post but missed that part. I'm glad it's not just me! Hopefully we either figure it out or someone tells us it's a bug so we know to stop looking for an answer that isn't there.

Not a problem, I hope you enjoy it! Forgot to mention that I'm also using the shuriken and smoke bomb active ninja skills, for a little range and extra dodging, respectively.

OMFG. Barb's Adrenaline Rush Passive... Heals him for a small amount for each kill, which also buffs his move speed for a short duration.

So are the stealth skills tied to the Thief character in the right-most position of the main trainers?

I played 3.5 hours but I think I'm going to start over cause I wasted some skill points in different classes that I'm not going to be following through with. I kind of wish there was a respec but I'm not sure if that would hurt the game in ways I didn't think of.

Slaughtering things a lot better now it have more Mage skills to go with my witch abilities.

Too tight to buy monk fist wraps though unless I find some by chance.

I'm really enjoying the game, as I knew I would. The artwork, gameplay and class system are all fantastic. So happy there's a cloud save option so I can switch readily between my devices.

    Some minor nits:

    - Would be nice to have info on what skills and requirements there are so you could do a little pre-planning. I suppose many people would like to just discover this and experiment as they go along, but I suspect others would rather micromanage their character design

    - The game starts off kind of difficult, and as others have mentioned, you can be left feeling lost or lose track of quests. So a journal would be great for that.

    - The other thing I'd like is a way to get out of a map midway, some kind of town portal or whatnot. Particularly early on I'd be midway into a map and run out of all my potions, so you either have to backtrack all the way or die to get out. I've also run into maps where the chests wouldn't open and I couldn't get the exit to engage. So maybe a pay option to exit early would be simplest, else buying a portal scroll or something so you have to plan in advance.

    - This was a bit of a controversial topic during development, but now having played the game I have to reiterate that I still would have preferred an invisible joystick type of movement (see Dungeon Quest! for a well implemented version) over the touch-based. Having tried the game on both iPhone and iPad, intuitively I try to move using my left thumb. Having to tap for both skills and movement makes combat that much more difficult, as I'm doing everything primarily with one thumb. I get some limited use out of left thumb but all in all it's not as efficient as I believe it could have been. Just my two cents.

The game doesn't do it's best at leading you in the directions you need to be. Always remember what the npcs tell you. Talk to everyone, go into all buildings. They will give you quests. There are tons of lvl 1/2/3 & 4 areas. You'll get 5/6 quests from just the first town alone. Find the witch, kill the goblins, raid a camp, get the witches book, save the mageblade ect. I'm a little lost myself after the capital but just keep talking and from there after receiving quests. Little dots will appear on your mini cap. Visit all areas on map to see where your quests are.
