Personally I would focus hard on one class, and then pick another that would compliment it as a secondary. Every class in most rpgs are dependent on 1 core stat for example warriors = strength, mages = intelligence, rangers = dex. In my case I went pure mage to start Intelligence+Skill, and now that I am making progress in the game, I can branch out to include a secondary class which could be witch Int+End, necromancer Int+Chr, or battlemage Int+Str. See how they all branch off Intelligence though, so I don't have to stretch my secondary class too far to still gain benefit from my stat points. This is just advice though, you're welcome to create any hybrid you see fit.
It runs not to bad after a fresh restart and no Internet. There's an update incoming for reduced mem consumption
Well, my character is a mix of Wizard / Witch. Not entirely sure what causes the problem... I'll try to reproduce, but I'm positive it's linked to teleport somehow (both times, it happened to me right after teleporting and casting a spell) Current skills are Chain Lightning / Meteor / Blizzard / Drain Life / Plague / Teleport / Debilitate / Blood Magic, it's probably teleport + Chain or Meteor or Plague, i'd say... I'll try to give more info if it happens once again.
Someone mentioned crashing with wolf summon earlier, happens to me with summon skeleton so I'm avoiding using that for now.
Yea, the only other was is if you have a save file right before you entered the mines. I lost about 5 mins of play time and half a level. I don't think it's crucial that you finish that mission. Pretty much you get the ore and the blacksmith uses it to create a weapon that I'm pretty sure you can buy anyway.
The paladin buff would be much better. You actually need to deal damage with the witch's skill in order to regain life, and the life you regain is usually not very significant. The paladin buff would be much more helpful given that you are using a highly physical skill build
Here, each class relies on at least two stats though. So, I'd say whether someone is going to focus hard on one class is more if they're dealing with a class with three requirements rather than two. Though if they can cover two classes with just three stats, they might as well do them both at once.
After a play trial - found out having a shield with my mage is not possible. Staves are two-handed weapons. Oh well - the Witch's Drain life skill is making things easier with my starting mage. That, and Poison. It's effective even when you go out of a room and wait - the enemies still get damaged and even die while you're in another room.
Sealed Cave? Level 10? Haha, that's hilarious. Anyone manage to clear it yet and have any tips? UPDATE: I think I may have found a strategy; we'll see if it works.
Yes. Strategy: hit everything and don't get hit too much. Meanwhile, I'm having my arse kicked by the slime boss. Which is, as I recall, where I got stuck on Battleheart the first time...
I'm pretty sure he does since I've only seen defensive buffs on him but I haven't gotten that far yet. I do know the Paladin has a Health +15% that's really nice. That's the next one up for me but it costs a lot of points so it'll be a while. Actually it's hard to give tips in this game since all the builds are different :S
I still cant get the battle mage thing to trigger. I have been all over the hideout place and no luck.
I don't know is there is a healer this game but since I've been going partial paladin and she has some good healing through attack skills. I think they'd compliment your barbarian well. Also good for your barbarian is a skill that increases attack damage by 50% for 10 seconds that you'll probably want One of the original BH skills.
