Definitely not universally true - your level and unspent stat points are saved as separate unrelated values. I just tried to reproduce this and can't, so if this did happen to you, could you provide some more details via pm?
Now putting the game down as my battery needs to charge, too. Simply put, the game is as awesome as the first one, and that is already a great achievement. Controls are easy, the interface basic and really nothing needs any explanation. Like WoW, easy to learn, hard to master - everyone having this played for more than 2 hours knows that gameplay gets pretty intense and tricky class combinations seem to be the key to progress. I might prefer the comic art style they used before (I really wish their next game will continue with their 2d comic art style again, it was really unique), but this 3d/cartoon mix does the job quite nicely, too. edit: maybe just holding a tap would be an easier way than double tap and then hold and steer?
Btw, pretty sure I know what's up with the summon wolf crash - could happen with any pet intermittently. Should be able to get a fix for that pretty quick.
I think I have spread my stat points a bit thin, getting my ass handed to me by the Frost Wyrm and I am apparently the right lvl (6). May have to focus on a couple rather than making a jack of all trades, although I thought my Ninwizwitchknight character was a great idea!
Pretty sure you didn't get the ogre key which unlocks the other chests in that dungeon, and I don't think you can change equipment in a dungeon.
Great work! All this info would do tons of good on the newly created wiki, so feel free to contribute! Thanks (and looking forward to that dialogue)! Feel to contribute further info to the wiki yourself, if yer into that kinda thing
Ahahaha! That'd be suicide! I took down the wyrm first time when i was around lv7. Died on first attempt when i was at level6 though. Right now Frost Wyrm's my xp and cash cow.
Uh, I can't decide which jobs to take continually because skill trees aren't given. Or am I missing that somehow?
Pretty sure it happened - I was in the mineshaft at the time. Can't really recall much more than that, however. One other minor niggle is that if I play with a new character, the world map seems to mark all the places my previous character visited... I think that should be reset? Other than that, this is an amazing game!
At this early stage, would anyone know how viable a 3-class hybrid with 3 primary stats and one secondary is? Specifically, I'm thinking about a Bard/Ranger/Rogue, where the bard needs mostly Dex and Cha, plus a little bit of Int, and Rogue and Ranger focuses on Dex and Skill.
How come I can't open some chests? I get close to it but the open button won lighten up. If it's not a bug, the game should inform why I can't open the chest.
I saw that and did what it said but I never run into any guy. Plus at level 1 I cant beat any of the groups so I guess i need to level up more.
Thanks for the info about where to find Necromancer and Witch. I want to take bothe classes and no others for my first play, is it possible to get either without having any class? For eg will I not be able to do the quests because they are too hard? Where is the drunk that tells me about the witch and can I get to the Mage tower right away and do the quest for necro? I'll finally get a few hours to play very soon and want to know if I can get these 2 rather than Mage and then 1 of them for my first play.
