Just picked this up! Great game but don't know which build to do. What are your favorites? Most powerful?
My personal favorite is ninja/rogue . I've always been a fan of sneaking around and assassinating foes with style I wouldn't choose a class just because it is more powerful than others. Every class is very unique, you should choose based on whatever fits your style.
Thanks! I will definitely pick my favorite way of playing which is slicing enemies down with a sword and shield! would a paladin/knight be a good build?
So, I've been off and on with this game since its release. Am I the only one tired of endlessly wandering around the map looking for areas that fall within the right range of levels? It's all either something really easy that I've cleared a few times already or something way too hard for my character. Only after checking what seems like every possible area do I come upon an appropriately-leveled area. I mean, this is a great game and a huge step forward for the mobile platform, IMO, but this aspect of the game is really bothersome to me. I feel like if the game was better about communicating what quest goes where and where the person who gave you the quest or told you about the area was this problem could be alleviated.
If it was too easy people would complain. Some levels were rough despite me being just one level below. I did a bit of grinding with random encounters and stated getting my level up. A great game
I'm cool with the difficulty, I prefer it. My criticism is more with regards to tedious navigation and the periodic lack of clear direction.
Now that the game has been out awhile I thought I would post another tactics video. This is pretty much a conclusion of the normal game, not game+ or extended character builds beyond what you get from your first play through. Spoiler Warning - this video contains the last battle in the game so if you're starting out and don't want your experience ruined please skip it, this is for the casual players here who might need some different ideas on how to beat the game using the Wizard hybrid class. Hey guys, I only just picked this up yesterday, and I think it's great! However, since the game doesn't hold your hand (which I think is good, personally) that much, I have some questions: When does it save? Do I have to exit a dungeon or something? Is there a penalty for dying, besides having to restart the dungeon? What is this 'arena' people are talking about? I chose to leave the bandits in a cave alone, the ones that are guarding some ore, however I wanted the ore, so I destroyed the chest, but only got coins. Is there any way I can get the ore, or is it gone forever? Also, it's not too important, is it? I'm starting my first guy out as a wizard- what compliments him well? I don't think the rouge and knight stuff would benefit me that much, seeming as they are melee classes. Thanks guys.
I also think Battleheart Legacy is really worth it. I've spent some time on it a while ago (before MHFU... well you know ). Yes you need to go back to the map so the game saves (or at least that's what I recall). Yes you lose money (20% I think). The arena is an area that you can find in the north western quarter of the map (I think it's not level-dependent). It allows to fight endless waves of enemies and therefore level-up quickly as well as getting legendary equipments. It's rather punishing though. I think you don't lose anything when dying in the arena. I think but again I am not sure that you got the ore anyway? The ore unlocks new equips from the main town shop. You can unlock some other classes, namely Spoiler witch, battle mage, necromancer , which have skills that are more likely to mix well with the wizard skill tree.
I used to play this a lot and i tended to 'grind' a lot and repeat some of the easier dungeons. Normally i dislike grinding but i had such a great time with this game i didnt want it to end !! I completed it all apart from the final fight, just couldnt do that so i gave up. But a great game, well worth the money, i was going to keep it on my device for future updates but i think its been quiet quiet and i needed the space ! But one of the best games of 2014 for me
Love this game a lot, few questions though, how do I wield 'colossal' weapons, is it a skill later or something? And is there any way that I can see my current quests? I know there are the little glowing icons on the map but that's very little info.
I'm thinking of making a ninja/rouge/battlemage character but I have some questions... Does the dual wield mean I can equip two different axes or swords, or is it just daggers? Can I use two weapons, make them on fire, and use the spinning attack at the same time? Is this a good idea?
Not just daggers, any one-handed weapon. Well, why not? that's the beauty of it. My suggestion: unlock every skills and then experiment. You can do it the other way round but it takes more time. I've read that the battlemage skills are a little underpowered. It's a good idea as long as you think it's cool and you don't keep dying in an area because of bad choices of skills.
