I find I have to either hit the home button or sleep button also and take a break, otherwise I end up lulling myself to sleep and skipping a skill then dying anyway. Finally got my melee/archer above level 300 but I'm still a few points away from my base bow and arrow damage goal of 1,000.
Just passing by with the same question in mind as some other guys on here: Any news whatsoever on new content?
None that I've heard. I'm anxious as well even if it is IAP, as good as this game has been it'd almost be a no-brainier buy for me.
Yeah they're definitely adding more content, but no one knows when It would be nice to see more end game content though
I've finished the game, grind through the Arena... Is there any similar game like Battleheart legacy? So same genre and style?
Theres really not another ARPG similar to this one, but there are plenty of good ARPG's that have their own styles. People usually share their favorite RPG's in the General Game Discussion thread
Has anyone tried using iFunbox to backup the save files and then reinstall them? I'm trying to make room for some big games that came out, and BHL is the second-to-largest app on my phone at the moment. I want to delete it, but don't want to lost my save data. Has anyone tried t yet?
Gah Positive: Got all skills! Negative: Can't find a build that'll kill the King 'cos stats all over the place (see above). EDIT: yes, haz tried those mentioned on previous pages of this thread Shame there's no reward for sucking at this game
I would just keep leveling up and focusing on a few stats. I think I was about 40th level with a witch/necro/wizard build before I could beat the final boss.
Since my Monster Hunting days are over I want to get into this again. I really enjoyed it when I first bought it but almost died of boredom when I got to level 12 or so. My question, which class would you say was a good all rounder and not boring to play after a few levels?
For me, my Ninja/Ranger/Rogue (benefits from most other classes also) has been the most fun and well-rounder character I have. A melee with dual wielding dagger. High damage output Archer. Max dodge for tanking. And all of that from just having to pump DEX stat which freed skill points to pump SKILL to 200 so I'd have a constant 100% crit rate. He is deadly from a far and up close Tons of fun sniping multiple enemies with Ranger and the Barrage skill and then knocking the sh*t out of any one enemy with Apollo Strike. I never get tired of seeing my char as a dual wielding ninja with Twin Strike and Blade Rush. Then using the Rogue skill Shadowstep to disappear from in front of an enemy, teleport and then end up behind an enemy all the way across the screen and stab it in the back. The Monk skill Ki Blast is deadly for clearing a bunch of surrounding enemies too. [edit] As you can probably tell, I've played this toon for quite awhile and I personally am still not bored
Yeah, ninja/rogue is probably the most powerful hybrid atm. I've had a play through with practically every class & all of them took longer to complete the game, compared to the ninja/rogue This definitely won't get you as much hours as MH does. You're probably looking at just about 15-ish hours per character on BHL.
My final MH saved game is just over 12 hrs so I'm hoping this does get close I'll try the classes you guys suggest, thanks!
Third Chaos Tower Wow, that third chaos tower is a major pain in the a##! My rogue/ranger hybrid has proven very effective during the game. I used to be able to breeze through the later levels, 2 levels under the "recommended" level. The chaos towers changed all that, my favourite combination of Envenom, Stealth and Summon Pet (get your venom, get your pet out, get your cloak on, let the pet cause some distraction, get to a safe distance, use some ranger skills, and when your wolf is dead, and the enemy turns on you use the rogue skills for close combat) didn't work very well there. I'm now pretty much stuck at the third chaos tower. I'm having particular trouble with the rooms full of ogres and gobilins. My character just can't handle wave after wave of those newly summoned critters. I go for the goblin shamans first, so they can't heal the troops, and for the ogres, as they seem to be the ones who summon new greenskins. I now use: - Sneak Attack - Shadowstep - Expose Weakness - Envenom These are all useful close combat skills for the rogue side of my character - Barrage - Incendiary Arrow These are my favourite long range skill for the ranger side of my character - Summon Pet This one seems invaluable to me - Premeditate I love this one to get a double whammy, either in close combat, or at long range I've completed both skill trees. I fooled around a bit with "low hanging fruit" from other classes, but I didn't like it much. It didn't fit with the fighting style this character was specialized in. Ninja class seemed most obvious, but I don't want to sacrafice my beloved bow. I'm now at level 30, and not sure what to do with my stat points. I didn't feel like putting them in stats I deliberately neglected (like charm, intel, endurance), so I kept putting them into either dexterity or skill, although there are no new skills to be learned from either rogue or ranger. Any advice for me? Am I on to something here? Or should I change my approach?
Buy some health stealing accessory and maybe some heal regen accessories. Do invest in ninja skills there is a lot helpful stuff to you there even if you don't dual wield. Lethality gives you 50% more damage on crit. Impending doom will make you much much stronger if you get 23 str. Also if you have trouble with the up coming bosses your quite set up to super easy kill on any boss. Spoiler stack as much +critical damage as you can. Then with some small investments on the other stats grab some buff skills like blood magic, envenom, power infusion, and enrage. Stack the buff skills (cast blood magic last) and hit with a shadow step. Boom massive damage with massive posion damage. You should be able to kill the last boss in a 1-2 of those hits. You can get an extra 2-3x damage to shadowstep's 7.5x and then critical at a 3.5-4.5x multiplier and then 33% of that damage becomes poison (with rogue poison passive).
Ok i'd like to start by saying i've been a huge fan ever since Battleheart and i think this game is a great addition. I do hope you plan to add classes/more storyline just like you did in Battleheart updates. I have a few ideas for classes i think would be great: -Pirate(Gunner/Swordsmen) Weapons: 1. Pistol 2. Cutlass Move Ideas: 1. Aimed Shot(shoots a direct shot with the pistol to a vital spot causing bleeding) 2. Rum Shot(roll a barrel of rum towards the opponent and then shoot it for explosive damage) 3. No Holds Barred(smash a beer bottle over the opponents head stunning them for 5 seconds) 4. No Survivors(pull out a blunderbuss for a powerful wide shot of birdshot) 5. Hand Grenade(light a greande and throw towards a group of enemies of your choosing) 6. Boarding Axe Boarding(Throw an axe at an opponent which will cause bleeding) 7. Rum Fire(Down a bottle of rum and then spit it out causing a massive amount of fire reminiscent of a dragon, same effect as the fire arrow) 8. Cannons Ahoy(With your signal a huge volley of cannonballs scour the field you can get hurt too, but the damage is massive) -Puppetmaster/Robotmaster(Essentially working very much like Puppet Masters from the anime Naruto and the character will stay stationary and the puppet/robot will move) Weapons: 1. Puppet/Robot 2. Puppet/Robot Move Ideas: 1. Poison Shot(Shoots a bomb of poison which does damage over time) 2. Knife Throw(3 Knives are thrown one straight, and the other 2 45 degrees in both directions) 3. Place Swap(swap places with the puppet/robot) 4. Ultimate Defense(Hide underneath the Puppet/Robot for 5 seconds healing in the process) 5. Restore(Broken Puppet/Robot is revived with a partial boost in defense & attack) 6. 2nd set of tools(whenever your {uppet/Robot is broken you are given smoke bombs and a knife to defend yourself 7. Todays a Good Day to Die(you force your robot/puppet to explode for big AOE Damage 8. Added Defense(Robot/Puppet is given hefty defensive boost)
